This works very well. My tanks had bad green water. Its a 65 gal tank. No matter what I tried it was still green water. The pics are day 1 and today- day 13. Took a little longer- don't expect it to clear it overnight. Give it time. Would suggest 2 of them in parallel if you have a tank over 50 gal for quicker results. It ran 24 hours during this period.Im going to back it down to 6 hours a day and see if it maintains. Will post back later.

It was hard to find a nice UV light for a small 10 gallon fish tank this light is perfect it has help keeping the fish tank clean but also make sure you give it a good clean to your fish tank clean water get as much of the algae out for better and faster results, the customer service is amazing fast response and they are happy to help you with your questions I highly recommended this product and the company.

UPDATE: 1+ month in and the UV lamp definitely makes a difference. Water has been nice and clear, but had a brief power blip recently, and as others noted the lamp apparently turned off and stayed off. I noticed the water getting hazy this week and found the UV lamp was off. Turned it back on and the water is crystal clear again today. Wish there was a way to easily be sure the lamp is good from the outside, but otherwise I'm pleased.INITIAL REVIEW:Plastic barbs aren’t very robust so take great care with assembling your setup. Functionally, the light appears to be doing its job. Only a week in, but water looks good.

This product was exactly what I needed. With the ability to select different runtimes you can use this on multiple size tanks.The issue comes form a small design flaw, the power button is a software button and not a hardware one. This means that when you loose electricity to the decive it shuts off and when power is returned it stays off.Both my tanks became green with no reason.Apparently we lost electricity for 30 seconds and the UV filter naver came back on, and with no way to visible see that the device is on, there was no way to know that it stopped working.

Easy to install (using it for my 10 gallon refugium return pump). The fact it has different tube fitting is great which makes it versatile for most small pumps. Ill see how long the U-V last but also another great thing is it has a attached button to change how long you want the light on so you don't burn it out to quick. Glad I found this and anyone that has a small pump should buy this.

Had this product for 50 days and installed on my 37G freshwater tank; went to clean the bulb chamber and found the bulb disconnected, glass cracked and o-rings worn out (brittle). I inspected it before installing and at the time it had no issues. Questioning the quality of internal components.

Been working great! Has fittings to fit various hose sizes, no leaks and timer feature is convenient.

No change in water clarity - no evidence anything was working.
