Rubbermaid (Red) 7E60 1-Gallon Pitcher (2-Pack), 1 Gallon

We've struggled finding pitchers that are both sturdy, reasonably priced, and easy for our team to use. These are probably the best we've had so far. The most important thing is that unlike a lot of pitchers, you don't have to flip the top around or spin it for the liquid to pour out. These have a nose on the top that you can easily flip open and shut closed. It's obvious when it's open and when it isn't so nobody is spilling by accident. The caps are really sturdy and tight, I think only once did any liquid come out with vigorous shaking. We like to mix our product right in the pitcher itself, so we can also use these for mixing!The durability is great, and it feels good in the hand to use these pitchers. There's no plastic taste either. The marks on the sides are very easily readable, and the material is great for labeling and cleaning. This is a good size, I couldn't imagine needing anything larger. Fits most fridges even with shelving. Will be using these pretty much exclusively in the future!

I’ve used these all of my life, but had to buy on Amazon to get the real deal. They’re great for making tea and are dishwasher safe. However, bacteria will lurk in the handle, and make the brewed tea ferment. Use a tbsp. of bleach in hot rinse water and shake thoroughly to really clean out and protect the brew.

These are thankfully way better than I expected. I'm happy to have them. I put my hot coffee in, put them in the fridge and drink through a gallon of cold coffee in a couple of days. There is some glugging and splashing while pouring, so beware how fast you try to pour. Easy open spout. Might not fit in tiny fridges. The tops seem perfectly tight when sealed. Though holding coffee 24/7, they do not seem to be porous enough to stain (a good thing). Easy to use handle. They do not fit in my dishwasher, just FYI, and smell plastic-like when sitting after cleaning. Overall, very happy though!

Had the predecessor to these jugs, lasted 30 years. Only difference is these are slightly skinnier & taller which requires a slight tilt to fit under shelf edge in fridge when going in/out. Tip - the cap has a gasket that is prone to pinching (causing a leak), I spray a wee bit of Pam on my fingertip and spread it on the rim of the jug to lube the gasket contact surface, works every time.

So I bought 2 of these and one cracked within the first week, gushing a gallon of iced tea everwhere. It was not smacked or dropped— simply removed from the fridge and placed on a counter where the crack radiated from the middle down to the base (see pic). The duplicate container I also purchased at the same time has no issues as of the writing of this review.I missed the Amazon return window but thankfully, Rubbermaid does have a 1 year warranty on its products so I was able to request a replacement directly from them. Rubbermaid customer service was great and ordered a replacement pitcher for me immediately.

The lid seal is not as secure as I would like. While a rubber ring seals the lid to the pitcher, the open/close spout has no seal, just a hard plastic-to-plastic seal . I sometimes get leaks when shaking the contents to mix. With a better open/close seal, I would give it 5 stars.

Unnecessarily tall for something you may want to refrigerate. The corollary to it's too tall is that creates a smaller footprint. I rated it down to 3 because if the smaller footprint is the draw it is offset by the general shape that does not allow it to fit closely together or up against a flat surface. Looked like it was the normally good quality that you can expect from Rubbermaid.

I was happy to get these but turns out they don’t fit into the dish washer. Washing by hand is impossible :( you can’t fit your hand inside. There is also no brush to get down all the way to clean or around the handle. I have everything Rubbermaid in the kitchen and this is the first time I’ve run into anything like this.
