Actually was trying to get a back-up Corona stainless steel weeder (which I found out is no longer made). So I decided to give this one a try, and was not disappointed. Long prongs, curved pivot plane, stainless steel body, wooden handle... all good. Only drawback was that the rubber wrapper around the handle was very poorly applied. There was only one spot where a drop of glue was applied. I sliced it off, put super glue on the rubber along the slice and held it onto the handle until it dried. Then super-glued the rest of the rubber tightly around the handle. Now much better - a well designed tool.

I've been buying the weeders from the big box store for a few years. However, I always end up with them snapping in half. Even when they weren't broken, they never had leverage. I even tried picking up a weeder from my local sprinkler supply store, and that shaft bent after a few uses. I do have a clay heavy soil, but these should be able to still handle it.This weeder is a night and day difference. The leverage provided by the little dome thing makes all the difference. It gets in there and you're able to get the weed out relatively easy compared to the screwdriver style weeders. On top of that, it doesn't seem to flex or bend, leading me to believe this will last a long time.I wish I bought this years ago. I'll probably be gifting this to several people with yards.

I wish it was a bit easier to use, however. The length is great for getting down to roots of a weed, but the part you lever against to pull up the weed could be a bit larger. When getting down to some roots, it's hard to lever that tool back up without a lot of effort.

This makes weeding easier on my hands. It did bend when I was in a rocky, hard soil area of my newest garden. I will be buying a replacement for sure!

This product is an excellent value and does the job pulling out weeds. The deep V nose design is great at getting weeds and their roots out. Don't hesitate to purchase if thinking about it. I looked at many tools that were more expensive and were of poorer quality, so glad I purchased the Edward tool.

Very good design. It has a good fulcrum to insure the leverage. Excellent workmanship as well.

Got sick & tired of buying cheap chinese crap. Liked it so much I ordered a 2nd one.Very nice build and much stronger than the locally bought Chinese made stuff.Happy to buy better quality at a slightly higher price. This one is a keeper.

I think that this is an excellent tool . I do wish that some of the reviewers of this product might consisder moistening the soil around the weeds first . .. : just saying .. :)
