Since I have had this owl (about two months) the darn Heron that was eating my Koi has not come back. I am very please with this "scarecrow" asI assume the fish are too. The sensors are very good at picking up movement (change in light) and the sounds are realistic. I saw the very same owl at a local garden shop without the solar or sound for more than what I pad for mine on Amazon. I haven't had any dealings with the company since t was delivered on time and worked perfectly. I hope I don't have any dealings in the future. Highly recommended.

We thought we had a bird problem on our porch and got Hoot to scare them off. It didn’t work...but that’s because we found out we’re dealing with bats. We did have a resident bird nesting near are porch and during the time we had Hoot out, it had ran the bird off although that bird wasn’t being a nuisance. Once we took Hoot down after we determined the animals being the nuisance are bats, the bird moves back in. I’m giving it 4 stars because it did scare the bird away while we had it out.

This owl keeps the birds, especially quail out of my garden. Our quail eat buds, leaves and any fruit. However the rabbits and squirrels showed no concern and had to be fenced out as usual.

Broke after 2 months. The eyes glow, but no more noises. Disappointed!

It's great, grandkids love it used to keep squirrels from eating their watermelons. Now they are using it for Halloween
