Very Bad Product
Purchased to use for a wedding. I bought ahead of time because I wasn't sure it would arrive in time with shipping the way it is. I should have tried it out right away. The water leaks from the tank. The tank is not a well designed tank. For the money and the description being that it is a professional steamer, you would think it would be just that. I followed all directions and it started off fine but then it heated up and seamed to open the seams on the tank and the water was running out all over. I wish I read more reviews and tried this right away before wasting my money. I ran to walmart and bought a higher end iron and that worked so much better than this overpriced piece of junk. Lesson learned.

A very nice portable iron, but not worth the price
If this steam iron by Kexi was less than $100, I would give it 5 stars. But at the current price it is way overpriced. Otherwise it works quite well and seems to be made out of quality materials that should last a long time. It's perfect for traveling because of the compact size, but you could easily use this as your only iron at home. The main disadvantage compared to a full size iron would be the size of the water tank, but that won't matter if you're only ironing a few pieces of clothing at a time. It comes with a base that you can sit it on when you're ironing clothes, so that you don't accidentally burn yourself or your clothes. I can definitely say that this is the nicest iron I have ever used. I highly recommend it if you can afford it.

Expected more in the way of functionality and safety for a luxury item like this
I say this is a luxury item because similar compact steam irons (meaning, same features and functionality) are a *fifth* of the price. And those are Western name brands. At first glance, this is definitely a beautiful item to have in the home. I was especially attracted to the matte sunshine yellow color. It has a good weight to it, which helps to smooth out thicker fabrics during ironing. The materials used in the production definitely seem to be quality.HOWEVER.If we're talking about design and actual execution. I have several issues about it.Circling back to comparing it to similar compact steam irons, this product *doesn't* have:1) A cord that allows for free movement -- other compact steam irons have retractable cords or pivoting cords. This one is fixed. It's durable, yes. But fixed.2) A diverse setting and guide for different fabrics/materials -- other compact steam irons have several settings and buttons as well as visual guides for use. This one only has "0", "1", and "2" in addition to the power regulation between "1200 watts" and "600 watts". It's up to you to figure out which setting you'll use for which fabric. There isn't even a guide for that in the manual. It's all guesswork and feeling. Not exactly a good basis for handling an appliance that contains *steaming hot liquid*.On to actually using it:Preheating phase was pretty quick, I waited a couple of minutes before it was ready to go, and that was nice. Less time wasted is more time earned.I got about 30-45 minutes of use for 1 full tank of distilled water, using steam on the "1" setting intermittently--just enough to get the cloth mildly moist and help smooth out the wrinkles.I feel like this was appropriate and sufficient for handing the important items such as our work clothes and articles of clothing that needed special handling (easily wrinkled, delicate fabric) like an expensive sundress.During use, however, these were the issues I encountered:One of the safety features *present* is that the steam doesn't come out of it, if it doesn't detect that you're gripping it right. [Quoting the manual: "Hands are not on the handle's sensing area, triggering the stop function" "Wrong angle of use, stopping water from entering the water inlet pipe"] That's great. We don't want it blasting steam if we lose grip of it. But then, you have to grip it *just right* to get your task going. Definitely will take some getting used to.One of the features *absent* is a catch mechanism for water condensate. If you look inside the iron where the water tank goes, it's literally just the space for the water tank, and the hole where the steam port is.Think about it. Steam inside the chamber (it's not airtight) comes into contact with the cooler inner surface of the iron. Water *will* condense. Basic physics, right? My heart leapt out of my chest when I felt dripping on my leg, I thought I was going to get scalded.I had used distilled water.I had closed the rubber stopper securely.I wiped the exterior of the tank and made sure it was dry and there was no leaking before I replaced it in the chamber. How did this happen??For the price range that this iron is in, one would think there would be more safeguards and quality control against dripping from the reservoir that contains /steaming hot water/.For one, there is no line indicating how far you should fill the water tank.Secondly, there is only 1 seal for the water tank: the silicone stopper. That's it. Why??? Where'd all the production money go, then? This iron is branded a "Professional Micro Steam Iron"From what I've experienced during use, it definitely should be handled by someone who knows what they're doing in a controlled setting; contradicting its own marketing for "Home and Travel use".

Cute and wonderful looking, but also tough and gets the job done!
This is so much better than my larger Rowenta iron, performance they are similar, so that's good, but in terms of ease of use, I love this one, it's so small and easier to maneuver and get things ironed. Power seems to be plenty and no problem. Things iron the first time without much re-work, and the included detachable tank works nice although it is smaller so you might have to keep some distilled water handy.

Doesn't work!!! Would like to return it.
I can't say anything more. It doesn't work! What could be more important than that?
