I searched for the perfect canister for my bathroom and came across these and they worked out perfect!They are easy to open and fill.They look beautiful!They are the perfect size and weight, not too heavy and certainly not too heavy.Love the way the project came together.

These are really cute, but not for food storage. I washed and dried the jars & lids - towel dried then let air dry over night. I put the lids on and set aside. A couple of days later, ready to use them, I noticed the strong smell of the stain when I took the lids off. I didn't even have to smell the jar. Maybe I the wood can be sealed and then safe to use, but until then I have no use for them.

Upon opening the box of these jars, of which we bought 3 sets, the odor is overwhelming from the stain used. We tried gently hand washing the lids in cold water in order to expunge the stench, unfortunately that did not work at all and rinsed off most of the stain, which is mainly why why purchased the jars. Whatever food items you place in these jars will take on the odor of the stain. Also, the glass is very thin, and will certainly not last in an active household. We have since returned this set, which was made in China.

One of the jar had a hairline scratch or so I thought but it was a crack and eventually it lead to the whole bottle cracking and I wasted my food which is contaminated by glass.The seal is also bot that great on two of the bottles I received. When I tried the seals they worked but then I washed it which might have washed off the petroleum jelly residue from the glass. The glass was cloudy when it arrived so I had to wash it. Now I have two good bottles and one which is not even closing, so of course it’s not airtight.

Bought these to store dried fruit and nuts. Despite the description they don’t fully seal allowing moisture and apparently moths (which I’ve never even seen in my home before) to get in.Everything I put in them was covered in mold and infested with bugs within a month. I tried to return them but I’m past the return window so it looks like I’ll be using these as planters.

Inexpensive and built that way. Extraordinarily thin, fragile glass. Would not recommend for ANYONE USING BLOOD THINNER. These are accidents waiting to happen. Took’em to the recycling bin.
