Q: When using these filters do you stop using the humihiifer? another words stop water filling the humidifier. I did switch to using a std tubing.

I was instructed by Vital Care to use the cpap as usual, but to insert one of these between the two sections of tubing. I still put distilled water in the tank every night.

Yes, that is the size it fits. I have to say that I was also very pleased by the quality of the filters - they are manufactured in Canada, and the cost is a fraction of what my medical supply company wants to charge me.

I would not use with heat or humidity. It may fit the end of the hose nearest your mask. I made certain that I changed my filter every week… it’s just a temp fix
