Movie Popcorn right at home!!
My wife and I have had one of these in our home for over 15 years. They are the way we go when we want to make popcorn to use as a meal. The recipe is with the popper and calls for a type of oil. We use Peanut oil as the flaming point is higher and you can get the oil hotter which pops more of the corns. We have even gone to doing 1/2 batch at a time so that we can prepare the batch for each of us and get more of the real butter on each half batch. It takes about 2 to 3 minutes to pop each 1/2 batch on a gas range, I don't know about an electric range. Then you can put whatever you want onto the batch for the person you are fixing it for. As for cleaning, if you wash it fairly soon, it is pretty easy to get clean. We have our "popcorn dinner" on Sunday nights and it consists of quartered apples and our batch of popcorn. Y'all enjoy!

Misrepresentation.... NOT STAINLESS STEEL as advertised.... It is Aluminum
I purchased this because I thought it was stainless steel based on the description. It is not. Even the pamphlet INSIDE the box states it to be stainless steel. The manufacturer made excuses. Will buy a Whirley Pop instead

Popcorn Lover
This was the greatest purchase made. I love making popcorn on the stove with this. It is easy to use and makes a good enough of popcorn.

Cumbersome
pros: It pops well. Use little oil. Crispy.Cons: Cumbersome to clean. I use soap & water 💦 not just wipe down. For me it’s difficult to remove and replace lid. I gotta get use to it. Popcorn/oil burns bottom pan on low heat! I had to use Ajax cleaner & steel brillo pad to remove burned stain in middle of pot. Scratched it up but its still good. What I mostly like is I don’t have to shake the pan and scratch up the burners. After washing I just leave in dish rack to air dry then store it in a plastic bag . to reuse I’ll rinse it off then dry with a paper towel. Put on low heat add oil then kernels.Note: Prepare everything first before pouring in oil and corn cause you’ll be stuck turning the handle crank and can’t do anything else. I like to eat hot popcorn so I have to be quick with adding toppings to be able to get a hot batch. I left one star off for difficult lid removal issue.

Works great at first but cheaply made
When you first get it it works great. Unfortunately, once you use it a dozen times or so, the cheap construction makes itself know. As the attached pic shows, the gearing gets out of whack and renders it useless. Find yourself a better made knockoff.

Great Kernal Popper!
I really like the quality of this popper, especially the metal gear mechanism that I feel will last a long time. Very reasonably priced, and the several times we have used it thus far it not only worked well as advertised but cleaned up perfectly (no burn marks etc). Ordered the Gallon jug of Butter flavored Popcorn oil that cooks up nearly all the kernals with an excellent flavor. Being able to eliminate additional butter is fantastic. Highly recommend and would purchase again.

some times old fashioned works better than the new assortment of popcorn gizmos
No air popper for me. No microwave popcorn. I'm still recovering from Jiffy Pop in my childhood. This thing works, it's fast, it's inexpensive.
