Cycle Snap for Bikes

I purchased this as a gift for my sister and two nephews, who’s garage could use a lot more organization and space. This has got to be one of the easiest things you could possibly install. Screw into the wall and you’re done. The option to store your bike vertically or horizontally is great, especially for the little one. They had no problem with any of their bikes fitting into the snap. Now that I know these are durable and really secure the bikes, I plan to buy more for the boys…and myself.

I need a bike rack for my entry way and bought the cycle snap. It seems to work ok and did not have any issues with the bike falling down or anything like that. It however is very unattractive looking and the white clip gets pretty dirty with the bike tires rubbing up against it. Someone recommended the Clug to me and I tried that out. I have attached some images below so you can see the two side by side.Here is my comparison between the two:Functionality:I have not had any issues with either of these holding my bike. I will say that the Clug seems quite a bit more secure however as it kind of wraps around the tire versus just pressing in on both sides like the cycle snap.Design and Aesthetics:The Clug wins here hands down. The Clug just looks cool and goes really well with my décor. I would say the Cycle Snap is ok for the garage but anything indoor I would recommend the Clug hands down.Installation:The Clug comes with dry-wall screws and screws whereas the Cycle Snap only comes with normal screws. With the weight of a mountain bike I think it is best to use a stud but I like that Clug at least gives you the option of drywall screws. Also, the Clug came with an awesome installation guide to hang on the wall to show you where to hang it which made installation much simpler. Also, how the box is shaped it actually should catch all the drywall dust which is awesome.Bottom line, I think both items function very well but the Clug has an easier installation process, is more aesthetically pleasing, and a much more solid product. I worry with the Cycle snap that the product will start to loose tension after a while and mike Bike would fall. Since there is no price difference between the two the Clug is the obvious winner here.

This product is great! I highly recommend it! Easy to install. The only hardware needed were the 2 screws that come with the package. The sturdy plastic clamped onto my hybrid bike's tire with no issues and held fast. I plan on ordering another one for my road bike as it's super easy to park and unpark my bike from the wall, which isn't always the case as I am a 5'3" female. I store my bike vertically against a wall & have had no problems. Very durable!

Snap way to easy, would expect a product that is required to be used regularly to take more abuse. Great idea but need better materials.

Truly a "why didn’t i think of that" kind of product. I’ve been using for several weeks with my mountain bike and it works like a charm. I really like how there is no undue pressure on the wheels/tires using the cycle snap, as oppose to other bike hangers I’ve used in the past. I sorta didn’t expect it to work so well given the lower cost and simple design but was pleasantly surprised.

Be aware, despite the product description, this will NOT work with a 28mm tire. The product packaging even suggest a range of 22-28mm but it is made of extremely hard plastic that does not flex. I bought this to use on my commuter bike with 28mm tires with zero luck of getting the tire to fit despite multiple attempts to shoehorn it in. Disappointing as I really like the minimalist design.

I love my Cycle Snap! I live in a one bedroom apartment with no external storage space for my bike. I needed an easy, efficient solution to keep it out of the way, but still accessible so that I can grab it quickly for a ride. Cycle Snap is the perfect solution! It saves me space in the apartment but keeps my bike within easy reach so taking it out is never an issue. I'm hooked!

This wall mount is the perfect solution to storing my road bike at home. I live in a small apartment and don't have a lot of room. The snap let's me place the bike upright and flat next to the HVAC door and out of the way.All you need is 2 drywall screws and a drill.
