SmiffysWomen's 1920's Black Flapper Costume

I actually loved this dress when I finally figured out the right size. I’m 5’9” and am currently wearing a size 12. I originally ordered the XL, but it was ridiculously large on me. Since I only had a week before my event, I immediately reordered a medium. It was perfect! The material stretches a little, so it can fit curvy women. The reason I gave 4 stars is for the accessories. The headband was okay, but the gloves were terrible. I ordered an 1920’s accessory pack (there’s plenty to choose from on Amazon) with gloves, headband and jewelry and used them instead. The feathers on the headband were crushed, so I actually used the feather from the headband that came with the dress (with some hot glue). I had no troubles returning the XL dress and was pleased with both the product and seller.

Honestly I should have written it did not fit as expected because it actually fit. Most of the time these things are not a great fit for a Fuller figured woman but this with amazing and it made for a wonderful evening.I am Nearly 6' tall and to find something that did not look like a shirt instead of a dress was refreshing

This dress is red like the picture which is what I wanted not black like the description. Ordered extra large and it fits perfectly. I usually wear size 14-16. I have ordered and returned several 1920’s dresses, this is the only one that fits great and looks great! It is just below the knee which is flattering, shorter dresses in my size do not look good on mature ladies and longer ones look frumpy. This is just right. It’s tricky though to get the right size, the size charts are misleading. Just need to order multiple sizes and return the ones that don’t fit. Easy returns thanks to amazing Amazon!

Loved this dress for a twenties themed party. Fit perfectly and wore really well and comfortably. I’ve put on some extra weight lately so Wasn’t sure about sizing but this worked out very well. Great value!

Amazon is my go to place for a lot of things but this is the first time I've been slightly unhappy with an order. Yes, even though I made this purchase almost a year ago, I still expected a little better. I ordered this flapper dress for a Halloween party for last year but had to cancel. I never opened it until now. The dress is made a little different from the picture shown and it fits weird. Its slightly big at the top and tight fitted at the bottom. I am a curvy lady however I don't think it should fit that way. Also, the product stated it comes with a headband and gloves. There were no gloves in the package, the feather on the headband is broken, and it looks like it was just thrown over in a plastic package. I had planned on wearing it for a mini Halloween dinner this year but not so sure if I want to.

perfect fit! I wear a 24/26 and this dress fit perfectly! looks like it cost a lot more than it did. The gloves run large and were way too big for my hands (and I have large hands) so the fingers were very long and there was a small tare on the thumb. But, an easy fix on both, I can sew up the hole, and sew the fingers to shorten them. Unfortunately, the theme for the party I was going to was changed from 20's theme to 80's, but, I'm keeping it anyway!

Excellent! I bought this for a roaring 20's costume, but it really works as a stylish dress. I looked great and it wore well. Of course, you need a strapless bra, which I've never found to be functional or comfortable. On me, it rode low, but looked fine. I'm also short, so the hem came past my knee. A few of the fringe fell off, but it's really not noticeable. It has the headpiece, necklace, gloves and cigarette holder. Good value.

I bought this for my sister for a costume party. She usually wears a medium but purchased a large because she said she wanted room in the dress to dance and be comfortable. The dress fit perfectly and the fringe had a cute shimmy to it. And the accessories were really cute!

Love this. Feels great on. Good quality. Cut length off but that's my personal preference and was able to make detachable sleeves out spare so added bonus. Wore it in a show and was great to move in

El vestido perfecto! Gran calidad y perfecto acabado y se adapta bien al cuerpo. Los guantes un horror pero eso ya lo sabía según las demás reseñas, pero merece la pena por el vestido que está de lujo y muy buen precio!!
