We have a Standard Poodle so our life revolves around outdoor sports like frisbee and fetch. We needed a frisbee option for nights when the snow is too soft to find our electric orange tennis balls and this fit the bill.Our first play session our girl loved it: it flies and catches well and the colored lights are so fun and make it easy to find even under the snow. But when I went to retrieve it after a big throw I saw that the light was in the snow without the frisbee! After a panicked search I found the frisbee and put it back in but the small clear cover that holds the light in was somewhere out there in the slow.I contacted the company explaining what happened and they immediately sent out 2 replacement covers! We pushed one back in and let me tell you, that thing is NOT coming off easily... it genuinely must have been something that happened in factory or in shipping and I didn't know enough to check. It works great! And a month later the snow melted in a bunch of patches and we found the cover in perfect condition.Will definitely be buying more, great product and the company stands behind it. Just make sure the cover is pushed on before you play for the first time, it's well designed and easy to miss.

HOW TO INCREASE THE LONGEVITY OF THE FRISBEE..So over all.. I love this frisbee! My dog loves it too! I bought 2 before I figured out the key to making it last.The part that covers the battery and holds it in place kept coming off and then obviously the battery would fall out. I tried superglue. No good. Plus when you have to change the battery, getting it off would be a pain.I finally took a staple gun and secured the piece to the frisbee, making sure all the edges were down. I am telling you it has made it last and I have had no problems! When it's time to change the battery, just take plyers and undo the staple. So easy.so so unfortunately.. Not completely reliable and worth the amount of money. But I don't mind tweaking it to make it last!

Hands down my pups favorite toy. The light up feature is fantastic for night time. It’s very durable as well. He digs and scratches on it all day long and won’t tear.I want to give it a 5/5 but the cover for the battery can come off if your dog is overly aggressive with the backside like chewing or scratching on it. But if you’re just using this as a fetch toy and not a chew toy as my pup likes to then 5/5.

I appreciate this light-up disc more than I thought I would. I purchased it initially to play beersby (a Frisbee/ disc game at parties) then found out that two of my six dogs absolutely LOVE to play with it at night time! Now it has become an obsession every single night! The whole family tosses out back and forth too. Large dogs definitely can puncture it but it's pretty durable if you don't allow them to sit and chew on it. We've played with it every night and the battery is still going strong. Highly recommend this light-up disc for camping, family gatherings, outdoor parties, and taking to dog parks or with friends on the evenings or during the day. It's a medium- sized disc with some weight to it and goes very far! Loads of fun for all ages!

After the first night using this with my golden retriever, something came loose. The light only stays lit if I am holding it tightly with my hand, or sometimes when it is thrown. When it lands or is still, it does not light. (I want to be able to find my frisbee in the dark field)

So, the description and packaging are both very clear. This is not a chew toy. Well, they're not kidding. We attempted to keep an ultra close eye on pooch as we played with this light-up wonder. It looks amazing and Fido loved it. Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes of play we let our guard down, just for a second. Apparently a second is all it takes for pretty much any dog to disassemble this doggy discus. I'm a big fan of Nite Ize products, this one didn't soar. If you're going to make an item that ends up in the mouth of a K9, put just a little more effort into the durability. Nobody is saying it needs to be indestructible, but a little less destructible would be nice. 3 stars for the 10 minutes of awesomeness we were able to experience. It flies great and the lights are very cool. It'll still work just fine as a standard frisbee for some time I believe.

Buying new ones only because I ran over the old one with the lawn mower! Hands down the best dog frisbee out there. The soft plastic that its made of is not going to chip a tooth and still flies incredibly well. Our boxer loves to chase it down and grab it in mid air. She goes nuts when we take it out. Our boxer destroys regular frisbees and she doesn't care for most dog frisbees. But this one is flexible enough that it bends without cracking when she bites down on it. The light part is just a bonus! One final note -the thing is so well made that it survived outside all winter buried in snow. Our dog found it in the spring all muddy, but a quick wash and it was good as new and it still lit up! Battery was weak, but it still worked.

I usually get my dogs disks from a place called "DT World", they have the cheaper Chomper model and the 12.99 Eurobland. I get the Eurabland because the material lasts longer through bites and winter cracks. I tried this LED disk because needed something shiny for the winter days. Material is very well compared to the Eurabland model from DT World which is the best i have tried so far. As the add states clear.. this is NOT a chewing toy. It is a great disk and flies very well. LED is great. I was very surprised with the good quality material.

Used it for a teenager’s bday party, everyone loved it.

Es ligero y blandito, se ilumina bien y de momento funciona muy bien, lo único que va cambiando de color y no se puede quedar fijo en un color. Por lo demás bien.

Mon border collie est fan de frisbee. Pour qu'il puisse en profiter aussi le soir j'ai acheté ce modèle il y a un an.Il est résistant et bien lumineux Je n'ai changé les piles qu'une fois en mois et pourtant il a été souvent utilisé. Il est un peu plus dur que le frisbee classique mais le chien joue autant avec. Très sympa de pouvoir jouer l'hiver quand la nuit arrive tôt.
