Scholastic Movie Novelization

Initial disclaimer: my grandsons aged 6 and 8 loved it (but they've never met a book they didn't love). I thought that the novelization of the movie shows that the movie will bear no relationship to the book series and in the process destroyed most of what is lovable about the characters. For those of us who have read the Bad Guys series, the movie is going to be a disappointment, as is the novelization of the movie.

My son did not like this book as much because it is not written in the same graphic novel style as the other books.

This is so strange, our book is missing the first four chapters. It starts on page 26!

So excited to receive this book since it’s based on the upcoming movie being released in late April. I have enjoyed reading the Bad Guys series with my grandkids. So when they visit in early April, we will read this together. I can’t wait!!!!
