Easy to use HD Dashcam at a great price
I was looking for a 1080p or higher dash cam. I had recently used one at a performance driving school and I found this one that seems to be almost identical to that one. It has the features that I wanted including two HD cameras, parking mode, along with Wi-Fi. Installation and setup was great. Due to a mistake on my part of ordering the wrong type of power cable, I reached out to their customer service and had a great response and they went above and beyond to help me get the right cable and the camera operating as it should. I give both the camera and their customer service a top rating. I have used the camera for a little over 3 weeks now and it seems to be working very well.

Works well and cheap!! No splicing or soldering or messing around. Just plug it in and bolt down the ground wire.
This works great. The easiest way to install it is to find a fuse location in your car that is free and check the amperage rating of the fuse by looking at your car manual or the back of the fuse cover. Once you have found the best slot to insert the lead, find a suitably positioned location to bolt down the ground lead. This is usually where other ground leads are already bolted down, but it need not be. In case, the best place was a bolt that was holding down my hood release lever. Now that you're sure that it will work in your car, buy the product, connect it to your dash cam and thread the wire down to the fuse box. You'll have to watch youtube videos for this if you don't know what you're doing. I've been using this product for a month now without any issues. On a final note of caution, you do want to use a fuse location that turns off with your car, because you don't want to have your video recording and draining your battery power. If you are a total amateur at this, and you do not own or know how to use a multimeter, use the following procedure: If you have two or three open fuse slots rated at 15A, you can do this via trial and error. Connect the lead to one fuse slot with the car off. If the camera turns on, you've selected the wrong fuse slot. Connect it to the next fuse slot. If nothing happens, turn your car on, and the camera should start up. Then turn the car off and your camera should turn off (possibly after a certain delay time, depending on your camera and how you set it up. For example, I have my camera running for one minute after I turn the car off because my camera has an internal battery and can do that). All in all, the product works great in my car and I'm very happy.

Easy and convenient
The media could not be loaded. Arrived really fast. Haven't installed it but it looks pretty easy to set up. Great product because you don't have to buy a converter etc. The cable is pretty long too.Gave it 4 stars because it doesn't come with instructions. Since I know nothing about electrical work on cars (or anything electrical rather) it gave me a scare at first that I wouldn't figure it out. However, you can google just about anything nowadays so learned to install from there.UPDATEJust finished installing the wire. Might I say, it was really easy. I've never done ANY work like this before and it was incredibly easy. Took me less than 5 minutes.I see that some of the complaints are about the fuse not fitting because of the position etc. Guess I was just lucky.A guy also said that he found the wires to be thin. I found this to be a positive thing as it made it incredibly easy to hide and push away the wires inside the panels of the vehicle.Overall I'd recommend. Glad I bought 2 so I could install one on my father's car.

I’m a Pro Hardwire Dashcamer Now!
The media could not be loaded. Turns out my GMC Sierra has 3 prong fuses, this comes with a standard 2 prong fuse. Not to worry. You, if you have any electric experience, or good at watching YouTube videos can do this install yourself. Thru this whole process I learned... How to run wires up and thru my truck, what a micro fuse is. I own a #15 torque wrench now, wedges to pry apart pieces of dash, ceiling and window arms. I also have four new friends- 2 at Advanced Auto Parts, 2 at Auto Zone. This is one of those projects that was 8 hours over two days. The next time I do it it’ll be a maximum of 30 minutes. (Owners Manual and Fuse Box Diagram might as well have been in Hebrew. No help)Start this project identifying what type fuse your car or truck has and where the fuse panel is located. You want a 10 or 15 amp fuse. Could be a micro, doesn’t matter. Test the fuse first to see if it comes on, turn off when you start or turn off the car. (Amp meter at auto parts store) Then watch a video on your car or truck on how to run your wiring. Sounds brutal, I did it four times, but it turned out looking great and that I never attached this cable. My whole family, the ones impossible to buy at Christmas for, are all getting dashcams this year, and I’ll be hardwiring them.

No power to USB on the 2 units I received.
Was easy to install, but there was no power to the USB plug on either of the 2 units I purchased. After installing the 1st one and found no power, I connected the other one directly to the battery to make sure there were no issues with my power to the fuse. I found no power to the USB plug. I then removed the one I had installed and tried the same thing and had the same result. Tested several locations with a meter and found power goes into step down transformer, but no power comes out. Unfortunate, as the item would have been perfect otherwise.
