The candle I got was thai lemongrass. It smelled more like a citronella candle. I would have given it 1 star but the packaging and actual jar it came in was really nice.

When this Hidden Label candle arrived my first thought was how beautiful the packaging is. As I opened the package I was impressed by how thoroughly and thoughtfully designed everything is. It becomes more than just packaging. It becomes a “mini-experience” and really sets the tone for what is inside. And what is inside definitely impresses! First of all, I noticed that this wasn’t just the one three-wicked candle I ordered, but three candles. There are two travel-size candles included in the set - each with a different scent. What a wonderful addition (and one I wasn’t expecting). The main candle is the star of the show. The ceramic holder is absolutely beautiful. It will definitely be repurposed when the candle is done. The wooden lid has a silicone seal that keeps the lid securely on the ceramic holder. Again - nothing but high-end design here. The Thai Lemongrass scent is…. perfect. It is fresh, complex and expensive-smelling (expensive-smelling being a strange way to describe it, but hopefully it makes sense). The travel tins hold “Vanilla Caramel” and “Mango Guava” scented candles. Both smell exactly as you would hope they would - luscious and rich.I had to go back and look at the selling price. What an incredible value! If you’re looking for a gift that impresses, look no further. And if you want a candle that you’ll be proud to have on your coffee table or anywhere else that is prominent, then you’ve found it. I had never heard of Hidden Label before, but I’m so glad I found it.

What a gorgeous candle set. I ordered the Mango-Guava and the 3-wick candle is not only beautiful to look at, but the fragrance is wonderful as well. It isn't overly sweet but it definitely has the scent of fresh tropical fruit with a floral undertone which I guess is the lily. I don't know what an actually lily smells like, but this is great -- a light, smooth floral scent that is not overpowering at all. The vanilla seems subtle to me. The candle smelled great right out of the box. The box! I must digress for a minute...I didn't expect a candle with a fruity/floral scent to arrive in a box designed to look like a brick. It is absolutely charming and so well done. The outer sleeve is black with a lovely swirl pattern done in white, grey and silver foil. It slips off to reveal the inner box that is reminiscent of a block of cement or pumice (it looks like a brick to me). Inside, the candles (one large, two small) are nestled in cut-to-fit foam. The 13.6 ounce candle is large and quite heavy. The ceramic jar is glazed in a marbled pattern and is stunning. It has a thick base and sides and is of excellent quality. The jar has a wooden lid with a tight-fitting gasket. The jar and lid are much nicer than the ones used for most of my candles and I will definitely be repurposing them once the wax has burned down. The two smaller candles are in tin containers with lids -- so cute. Once lit, the large candle has a very good throw and the fragrance easily fills the room. To me, the scent is light, summery and refreshing and not "perfumey". I really enjoy it and the scent lingers for a considerable length of time after the candle is no longer burning. The candle burns cleanly and for a long time. The wicks are well positioned and the wax pools evenly as it melts. I haven't tried the two small sample-sized candles yet but they certainly do smell enticing when I lift the lids; one is the Thai lemongrass (spicy citrus and a bit sharp) and the other is the vanilla caramel (rich, warm, sweet but not cloying). The current price of $28.99 seems very reasonable and this would make an excellent gift.

These are great-smelling candles in pretty marbled containers. I've been burning a small one during the day while I work for a couple of weeks and it's still going. I know they're called "Hidden Label", but I wish there was some indicator of the scent on the actual candles somewhere, if only on the actual label on the bottom. I'm not exactly going to store them in the box with all the material inside the whole time.

Great scents, all smell delicious even when not burning. Good throw and burn time, nothing remarkable as far as burn time goes but they definitely hung in there longer than I thought. The vanilla caramel was weak but was still nice. Better to keep in small areas if you really want the scent to be noticeable. Love the jars as well. They're beautiful and simple, and don't have a bunch of ugly text all over it like the big jar candles do. Also super tough since the cat decided to challenge the jars to a smack off and won. Didn't break but that doesn't mean yours won't.

I love this candle. I recommend it. Seriously— get it.I love lemongrass and this delivers that beautiful, fresh, citrusy scent. I love the stone jar/bowl thing that it comes in, super pretty. Feels expensive and high quality.This big old candle also came with two 1.2 oz samplers— a caramel vanilla candle, (smells sweet and cozy without being syrupy, love it,) and mango guava (fruity and fresh, I’m not usually a fruit candle girl but I dig this one for sure.)Get this, gift this, buy one and light it and just enjoy it because you really will.Hope this helps!
