I painted the brackets to match house color, but these brackets are strong enough to support a granite counter top for BBQ grill.

These brackets are exactly what I was looking for. They are thick and well constructed with perfect 90 degree angle required for screwing in the wood countertop on drywall. Love the fact that the brackets are strong enough to support the heavy countertop!Wished black screws or bolts were included (concrete anchors and screws are included, but they were not what were needed for my drywall). Compared prices and these were more economical than the cost to manufacture them. I highly recommend these brackets. As a matter of fact, I have ordered another set for my breakfast countertop project.

I still haven't installed the brackets for a couple of reasons, one of which is they come with very strange expanding bolts that seem to be for concrete or brick, and no instructions on how these are used or if they can be used for installation in studs. This has been mentioned by others. If anyone knows anything about these bolts, or what sort of other screws to use, I'd appreciate you letting me know. Thanks.
