Global Door Controls36 in. Aluminum Touch Bar Exit Device

This product was purchased to replace a similar unit that had failed. I have since purchased two more to have on hand when other units fail or are damaged. The installation was easy and the unit works great!

I was replacing an older bar that had broken. Although the holes did not match up, I found it very easy to install this new bar with basic tools like a drill and metal bit.

I bought this push bar panic exit device as New York City law requires an easy to use panic exit device in case of fires in commercial buildings. The device was a breeze to install, and worked as advertised, fitting my standard sized door. 5 Stars, would buy again.

We replaced a 35 year old crash bar with this unit. Easy to install, fit the old outside hardware and works great.

This device is much more difficult than it needs to be. The instructions are confusing. Step two is to install cylinder and to cut the tailpiece to length desired. I searched for cylinder, no dice. Global Door Control customer service said it was sold separately. She made no suggestion of the cost, shipping, nothing. I told her forget it, I would try another brand and she said "ok, thanks!" Really close to the worst customer "service" I've experienced.

This product was the cheapest metal built, no plastic panic bar i could find. It is very sturdy and looks solid.

Good quality and easy to install. We installed these on our commercial doors to meet the fire code in Pa.

This is an excellent door release, well made, pleasing to the eye and last but not least it operates easy and locks the door solid.
