how many more are out there!!
It is amazing that one individual accumlated so much power and money while producing the worst drug that continues to dominate the world with different drug loads but continuing to make milions from our people everyday of their lives. We all look at this man with eyes of condemming him for his behavior however we still have many similiar individuals that contue to control societies way of life by running the world by laws created by them to have this control. We still allow a selected few to run our government for we the people can not compete cuz this same group pour millions into every election to pay back the support received during their own political campaigns that cost so much money that for us to think we can be president for the good of the people (a majority of the people) we are wrong and the people in power and rich know exactly who i am talking about and love it. This man and this program show us one man however we have to accept the fact that he is not the only one nor the last.

Very Interesting
This is a very interesting documentary about one of the richest and most powerful criminals the world has seen. The U.S. government may have seized 150 million in assets from Escobar every year but that was NOTHING to him. Escobar had so much cash that he had nowhere to put it. He spent an estimated $2,500 each month on rubber bands to bundle all of his money and each year he would lose around 2.1 Billion dollars because rats would eat it in storage or it would be damaged by mold!..

Everyone knows the man and knows all about it all the topics have already been covered but it's still good to go over again
Considering that this guy started off by stealing tombstones and cars it's amazing how far he went. But that's the one thing about the dope game that makes it so enticing even the stone cold dog with the IQ of a box of rocks can become King for the day but in the end we all know where this game ends up and that's in the penitentiary or the morgue or the witness protection program or in any other unhappy endings Johnny says give Pablo a second look because they're just in much on TV anyway

You get the basic timeline, but that's basically it
Very basic review of the news at the time peppered with interviews with US law enforcement and one American and one Colombian journalists. Gives you the basic story, but with no depth or new insights. Not very well done at all.

Everything you might have wanted to know but did not know to ask about.
An interesting profile on one of the biggest drug lords of Colombia. Chilling in its examples of savage control and spellbinding in its story of complete disregard for and nose-thumbing at any form of authority other than his own. It is the story of a man who tried to overthrow his government, killed supreme court justices because he wanted to destroy evidence which would have gotten him extradited to the USA, ran for public office, built hospitals, schools, etc. He was feared, reviled, loved and in the end he was killed in a shoot-out with the police and the army of his country. He was worshiped by the poor and one wonders what this person could have achieved had he decided to put his talents to use in a constructive manner rather than as a manufacturer of death and disability.

Quite A Story
We got interested in the Pablo Escobar story watching the Spanish language novela about him. This documentary is an excellent educational addition to his folk hero image among some. The violence he brought about in Columbia is horrific.

Pablo's Demise
Good documentary about a ruthless drug lord. If you've read, "Killing Pablo", it gives you a visual of just how twisted his world was!
