Good for propane use, worth the money in general
I need the propane option and use that all the time. ( I roast green coffee beans). I have two other stoves, which do not work for this purpose. One is butane only and is too expensive. The second is a cheap version by gas one, like this. I do not recommend that stove for two reasons: it has a hose to connect to the propane instead of metal. The hose seems dangerous. Also it is rated at lower BTU because the burner has fewer holes and is cheaper construction. That makes it hard to control and wasteful. This one works very well for me with propane. Attaching the adapter is a little funky. There is a notch that has to match up, but once you get that, it feels safe. The burner has many more holes, giving much better flame control and better heat output.I do not recommend any other propane version, for safety reasons. No rubber hoses! This one costs more, but if you need the functionality, it is worth it. And just a note. For cold weather use, Propane is much better than butane because butane does not vaporize below 31 F. In other words if the cylinder gets a little below freezing, it will not work. This is not true for propane.

Easy to use puts out plenty of heat
It gets plenty hot and im able to cook a meal for 4 on it the same as my normal front right burner. I haven't tried it in the 'elements' but on a normal not windy day it does well. Propane hook up is easy and it comes with the adapter for 1lb tanks. Ive only used 1 butane can and 1 propane 1lb bottle sofar.

Awesome stove.
You buy this stove because you need 15,000BTUs of heat. So I need to boil half a Dutch oven of canola oil to 375°. This burner will do that. you certainly want to use propane to do that. If you use a can of butane you’re gonna blow through half to three-quarter to cook four chicken breast. Which is not a problem because butane has less heat than liquid natural gas or better known as propane.

Does What It's Supposed To. Burns Fuel, Emit Heat
Pros:* Dual fuel; burns propane and butane.* Burner head design is made of brass and has inner and outer ring with a stylish look. It has a similar kind of head used on GasOne GS-800 and this model has an identical "sibling", Maxsun MS8000.Cons:* Propane attachment feels hazardous since it is holding the propane tank at a weird angle. Could experience damage if something knocks into it when the tank is attached. Patent Pending on this attachment? Sure, it's novel, but it feels hazardous.* Not really using the full range of the stove burner dial. The flame would easily go out when trying to lower the flame settings. There was a smell of unburnt fuel on lower flame settings.* Frame construction was not perfect out of the box. My unit's butane cover plate was misaligned so I had to bend it a little to have a snug fit.* Plastic case for storing the unit is really cheap. The hinges do not look like they were built to last and one of them had came off the first time I opened the case.* The flame guard doesn't actually help block the wind all that much. A very minor draft of wind would cause the flame to struggle a little.* Butane bottle got warm after a long session. I don't think this is necessarily an issue because it may be performing just as well as any other brand.Verdict:Despite all the things I mentioned, I am still satisfied with the burner. The design is currently still novel and someone else haven't yet ordered units from the same factory and slapped their own brand on it. It's possible that GasOne is indeed working on their own design and specifications to give to a factory and is genuinely trying to innovate. They deserve my support, and I hope they address some or if not all the issues mentioned. Now... if there was a foldable, super efficient dual fuel stove that burns at 15,000 btu... that would be awesome.*Update: I found similar 'patent pending' dual fuel stoves on China's Amazon competitor website. I believe GasOne is ordering units from Chinese suppliers with their labels printed on it.

Worth the upgrade.
Total upgrade from the 8,000 BTU model. As that one gets water to boil at 3~4 minutes, this model only does it in under 2 1/2 minutes. Worth the 15,000 BTU and compact size. This thing murders for my camping/offroad/roadtrip peeps.

Works as advertised.
On arrival:Much hotter than the store bought coleman stove, and dual fuel. Adapter works perfectly fine, didnt even read instructions and figured out it locks in a semi static position (theres some wiggle room before locking). Only thing, remember to retighten connector if removing and replacing propane canister, it gets loose when you lift it up. Will update if it doesnt work well outdoors or if it stops working.
