If you have shopped backgammon boards, you know the prices are all over the place. We thought about spending more, but are really glad we didn't, because this set seems to hit the sweet spot. The checkers are nice and hefty, the dice are a good size, the included extras checkers and dice is a very nice touch, and we really like the padded case. The only slight dissatisfaction is the closing snaps. We had better quality on the used travel set we got for $6 at Goodwill.

We are really surprised with the quality of the board. We had to replace our old board and bought this set because of the design and reviews. The hinges, hinge covers and hardware is very good and well designed. The leather is high quality and checkers have a great weight. The doubling cube is slightly bigger than the die which is how it should be and interior felt really nice to play on. We actually also enjoyed the variations in the instructions, I didn’t know there were so many different ways to play and the ebook that comes with it as well as the tree they plant was a nice surprise.

This is a nice little vacuum and set. It is just the perfect size for us. We love the design of it and feel that it is well made
