Easy to transport and use
The best thing to use on the beach when the wind is blowing, the place you drop the starting stick into is safe from the wind but the flame is still quite warm. The handle on the side is perfect to carry. The time it burns is perfect, about an hour.

Too smoky
We’ve used these types of wood before, and they were not so smoke. This were extremely smoky could not get close to the fire pit.
