Product description Good condition. Includes batteries. Light works and recorder works. Flag and gas nozzle are broken off. Stickers are in really good condition From ToyTips.com The rescue heroes finally have a place to dispatch and plan their rescue operations. The command center is a tri-level headquarters complete with emergency warning sounds and lights, places to dock and fix the rescue vehicles, a heli-pad on the top level and a slide pole and ladder. Kids can also record and playback their own rescue message to help put themselves directly in the action, helping them plan and take control of the play action. The command center encourages pre-schoolers to think and learn while they are planning rescue operations. Furthermore, it can be helpful in problem solving as children must map out rescue plans. It can also be useful for teaching children to cooperate with their friends when rescues are necessary and the important of listening skills.

Lots of fun for all my kids
My 5 year old son asked for this toy last Christmas. Well, it's September and it's still his favorite toy. His younger siblings, especially his brothers, also love this one. Even the 9 month old plays with it! It's extremely sturdy . In fact, toys almost never last this long in our house - and it's gotten tons of play time and it's actually still in perfect condition - unheard of here! The Rescue Heroes action figures each have something to do with the tower. Their packs attach to the tower for storage and the whole ensemble is really cute and lots of fun. This is a great price for a toy of this high quality. I've never been happier with the purchase of a toy before. My son still requests the figures - he has earned some and gotten some for his birthday, and this Christmas he wants more.I highly recommend this toy.

My 3 and 4 year olds love it!
The boys received this from my brother and it is easily the most played-with toy they have. They had not had any Rescue Heroes stuff before and really took to it. They really liked the function where they can record their own voice and play it back, giving orders to the Heroes and my wife and I get a kick out of hearing what they record. The set was pretty easy to set up and only took about 10-15 minutes total. The one downside is the any character with a backpack on has to take it off before being placed in the tower, or he won't fit. Also my youngest has a hard time making the figures grip the elevator and he sometimes get frustrated when they fall. The set came with the original Jack Hammer who has a flimsy plastic jackhammer. They also got the talking Jack Hammer figure that has more durable tools (although not a jackhammer). Bottom line is get this for your boys, especially if you want something that will occupy long periods of time.

Tower command center a must for rescue hero fans
We bought this toy for our 4 year old who loves the rescue hero figures. We own some of the vehicles like the police cruiser and fire truck and he said that he wanted the command center. He actually wanted the Mountain Command Center that is 2x the price of this one and 3x the size. We purchased this one b/c it was smaller and a fraction of the price and was unsure if this was going to be a short lived fascination. He loves the toy and has not stopped playing with it. The best feature is that you can record your own voice and play it over and over again. What child does not like that? He tells the recorder which mission he is conquering and requests for help from the other rescue heroes and plays it back and it makes him feel important that his voice is announcing the details of the mission. He also loves the elevator that the heroes spiral down from. A definite find especially since it is discontinued and an old item. This toy does not have some of the negatives of the Mountain Command center such as pieces falling off. We have found it very durable so far. Also, it did not take long to put together at all. The instructions were very easy and self explanatory. Enjoy.

My son's VERY Favorite toy this year...
My 2 1/2 year old son is a Rescue Heroes fanatic. He received this command center for Christmas this year. He absolutely LOVES it... more than his "big gift" train set (we were surprised). The first thing he did is line up all the Rescue Hero figures next to the box and say "It's your house!". He has climbed on top of it, tipped it over, and carried it all over the house. It is surprisingly sturdy, and doesn't tip as easily as I expected (he weighs 30 lbs, and I've caught him climbing on it a few times). I know it says for ages 3 and up.. but he seems able to play with it just fine. It doesn't have small pieces to get lost. And he is able to record his voice on it and replay it for us over and over, and over...My 4 year old nephew also got this toy for his birthday and LOVES it. Even my 7 year old niece love to record her voice on it. I highly recommend this for a Rescue Heroes fan.

resure hero must have
We have had this tower for over a year and half. It is very durable. It has been thrown in toy boxes off a bunk bed and even stand on by my four year(45 pounds)old who wanted to look out the window. I walked into the room and he just walked up the tower and step right down I could hardly belive it. It still looks brand new. My eight and four year old LOVE THIS TOY! My husband loves to record messages for the kids to find while playing. We have change the batteries only once and that was last week. They like to use the sound on the tower for the helocopter that we also have.

Great Toy!
My son received this for Christmas and absolutely loves it! It is great for a 4-year-old's budding imagination. He makes up his own stories and has his Rescue Heroes play the parts. It was a cinch to put together. It also seems to be very durable as it has already taken a few tumbles. The Heroes fit well into it. The recorder is a big hit. My son loves to record his voice and anyone else who is willing to play with him. He's already put in his order for the Rescue Jet for his birthday. It good to see there are action figures out there that represent positive role models rather than the violent figures usually seen.I hope Fisher-price continues to broaden this line of toys.

Highly recommend Rescue Heroes for kids of ALL ages!
I must admit -- I was a little cautious when I saw the recommended age of "3 years and up." I was sure that my 5-year-old would think it was not "grown-up" enough. I was wrong!! Rescue Heroes is an extremely versatile line of toys, which has a broad appeal to kids of all ages. Both my 3-year-old and 5-year-old love to simulate "rescue operations". I applaud Fisher Price for developing this GREAT line of toys, which allows kids to use their imaginations -- while still having lots of "cool gadgets" (like the voice-playback). Our family LOVES Rescue Heroes!
