The Best lobster bisque starts with Better Than Bouillon Base. It's our treat to ourselves, and makes up a better bisque than any restaurant's bisque. Leftover bisque goes on omelettes the next morning. Full of flavor and easy to use. We keep a jar for months in the fridge. Lasts a good long while and still full of flavor. We're from the Northeast and are very picky lobster eaters. The jars came promptly.

A little bit salty, so you only need a tiny bit.

I gotta say, I REALLY love this stuff. A teaspoon of it in a cup, a little half and half, and hot water and you have a quick and tasty snack. Tomorrow, I’ll be making a pot of clam chowder with it. Be careful, it’s salty. A true teaspoon per 8 ounces. The only issue I have is with the packaging, and this seems to be a thing reported in other reviews. I ordered the 4 pack and one of the lids was not tightened from the factory. The paper seals were in place but the lid was loose enough that it leaked all over the other jars and had to be thrown out. Having to throw away 25% of the product really increases the price. But I like it enough to buy it again.

I bought this product to make Ziti al Forno and flavor it like Biaggi's Restaurant. Very successful. It is subtle, warm, creates good balance. I've added it to chicken soup, just a teaspoonful, and there is a very nice undertone. I look forward to adding it often to different things- it doesn't dominate, it highlights the other tastes and textures. Try it.

I have purchased the chicken product on numerous occasions. I thought that this would be an upgrade. It was really nauseating. Sadly I have gone beyond the limit of Amazons return policy so I’m stuck with this. I guess the garbageman gets it.

Good product

Better Than Bouillon Premium Lobster Base has a wonderful taste good in lots of seafood dishes. The only negativity is in recieving this product is; out of three orders 10-28-2023 package of two one jar broken, poorly pack; 12-31-2023 package of two all were in good shape the packing was improved; 02-08-2024 This order package of four had one of four top not scewed on tigh I sure this was done at the factory. From what I understand from the first order there is no way to get a replacement because it a food product no returns. If Amazon doesn't like this review I would like to contact me to resolve issuses. Pictures says it all.

Tastes great! Why I have to buy 4 at a time is beyond me?
