I'm building a kayak and I found this product easy to use and very effective. However, when the adhesive strip is applied to the surface, not all the adhesive is removed when the tape is removed. The residue is incompatible with epoxy and its like oil and water, the epoxy shrinks away from the residue and leave a mess. I had to clean the surface with acetone, twice, sand off the epoxy then clean again before putting more epoxy on the kayak. With curing times and the damage stretching over 8 metres, this extended my project by 3 days.there is nothing wrong with the product but in this situation, put masking tape on the hull then apply this masking film to the masking tape.

The product was precisely as needed and arrived quickly. The only issue which I feel is unrelated concerned my specific use to treat a cabriolet hood and the obvious problems attaching to the irregular line to protect the windows and painted surfaces from the weatherproofing spray. I presume the dustsheets would properly protect 'straight' surfaces e.g., doors/windows.

They protected my door frames, skirting boards and walls perfectly. They remove easily without causing any damage to painted woodwork or surfaces. Easy to apply. Great value for money and I have more than enough for the job I’m doing.

The tape tears when rolling out, and the plastic sheeting is so thin it tears with the tape as your rolling it out, was so bad I threw the rest in the bin, went back to the old fashioned way of decorators plastic and roll tape, would not recommend this ridiculous product at all!
