Herman Miller Sayl Chair White Fully Adjustable with Tilt Limiter/Seat Depth/Adjustable Arms/Chrome Base Renewed

The chair is comfortable and the design stands out. However, I didnt find it super comfortable but broad range of adjustments make things good.I received the chair with stained seat due to packing while the chair was still wet of cleaning. But, they promptly offered to change the product, refund and offered a discount if I decided to keep the chair as it is. I was happy with the support provided and recommend the seller.

I was a little worried about the condition of this chair given other reviews. Listing this as a "Renewed" chair is misleading. It's definitely a USED chair that has not been cleaned or refurbished in any way. But at half the price, I'm okay with that.If you're hoping for a stark white, this is not the chair for you. It's hard to tell from the photo but where your back meets the chair is definitely somewhat discolored from use. Probably not an issue with the darker chair frames. The seat also has some dark spots, but it's hard to tell. Also minimal scuff marks on the base. But all the mechanical elements work just fine.Overall, this is an excellent used chair. Although FYI, you cannot tilt the seat and the arm adjustments are stationary and only have two positions, high or low.

Supportive, ergonomically, with a very breathable back, the Sayl chair is made sturdily enough that purchasing a renewed or refurbished unit is not a problem. Be sure to follow the fitment instructions from Herman Miller's website and you'll have a chair that fits like a glove, encouraging better posture than you ever thought you were capable of. Interestingly, this refurbished chair comes with a few upgrades from the standard base model: chrome base, seat-depth adjustable, fully adjustable arms, and all-important (to me) lumbar support. Something to note is that if you're very tall, the sale chair may not be for you. I'm 6-foot one and have basically maxed-out the adjustments. The seat pad, disappointingly, was a bit dirty--though not worn--with small debris caught in its webbing, and needed a vacuum. For the most part, it looks new save for the chrome base, which had some marks. As with renewed, YMMV. Recommended.

The Sayl is the NY Times’ third choice for most comfortable desk chair in a review they did and it does not disappoint. I made the mistake of buying a gaming chair from an unknown company on Amazon before I got so much back and butt discomfort that I quickly switched to this lovely chair. It’s from Herman Miller so seating is their thing, and although the Amazon offering says it’s refurbished you cannot tell, the quality is top-notch and Amazon can deliver it to you in three subtle pieces that take 2 minutes to throw together in way less time than the official Herman Miller vendor mentioned in the Times article I learned about this chair from. I did purchase replacement castors as I don’t like a ton of sliding; the castors it comes with do not lock.

Disappointed! I knew it was refurbished but it has so many bad marks that makes it not appealing

Chair is comfortable but definitely wasn't cleaned properly and is very scuffed. For the price should at least be clean.
