Easy to assemble. Screws were fine. Solid and great quality wood. Looks fab and works well

This shelf looks good from a distance, however, the first thing I noticed when I received it was that the pine wood wasn’t finished well. It is stained but no clear coat and it wasn’t sanded completely smooth. There are some burrs and snags. The hooks aren’t perfectly centered either. It really just has the feel of a high school wood shop project. Additionally, when I received it there were scratches on the shelf and a large crack that extends about half way across along the top (see photo), well under where the mounting hardware is attached so hopefully the crack doesn’t expand.The sunglass bar is a cool idea, but it only holds 3 pairs of glasses max. I was hoping it would hold a pair of sunglasses and a pair of reading glasses each for both my husband and I. The shelf doesn’t come pre attached and you’ll need a screwdriver but there are pre drilled holes and that’s easy enough.It was easy to assemble and hang- all necessary hardware was included and I even received a couple extra screws and wall anchors. As long as you don’t get close enough to see the poor finish quality, it does look nice and matches the reclaimed wood mantle in my living room. The bars are cabinet handles, that just so happen to be the same hardware I have in my bathrooms and kitchen.Overall, I’m underwhelmed and feel “meh” about this purchase but I’m giving 3 stars as it is extremely functional and perfectly holds our wallets, masks, dog leashes, and keys. I may clear coat it myself and may try to fill the crack with epoxy. I also suspect the damage was a shipping issue rather than an issue with the manufacturer.

This is a nice rustic looking entryway sunglass/key/hat holder. I gave it 3 stars for two reasons.Firstly because one of the bronze bars came stripped. I used superglue to secure it. Not a big deal but it was an out of the box issue. I also had to screw in the key holder hooks as they where barely started.Second, the hanging mechanism is kind of weak. I'd have much preferred a full screw through with plugs or something like that instead of the pin the tail on the screw head slot system.Also, be aware that the bronze hooks have a pretty small mouth. It is tricky to hang a hat with a plastic adjuster as it does not fit flat in the hook.Overall it's not "bad" but there are some small issues with it that could be improved.

Love this key holder! We recently redid our living room and I wanted a new key hook and liked the look of this one. I didn’t want to drill holes in my brand new walls so I attached this with two of the picture hanging Velcro-like command strips. 2 of them together hold 12 pounds and this is only around 5 or 6 so it is secure. I personally don’t like putting my sunglasses on the sunglasses spot because I feel like it stretches them out so I put mine in the shelf but my daughter doesn’t care so that’s where hers go. I don’t think we’ll ever use the smaller hooks either but they don’t bother me and are barely even noticeable. Overall very happy with this item!
