We have had these for a couple months now. Bought these to use with our cast iron skillets. The longer silicone handles fit really well if the skillet handle is flat but if it is slightly curved, it tends to be bit loose (the part thats closer to the skillet). I wish I had realized that before I bought them since we have 2 skillets and one them has a slightly curved handle. Still very happy with these. They insulate from the heat pretty well though the silicone is not too thick. I have left them on the handle near the flame (by accident) and I still able to use it to pick up the skillet ( it feels warm but never hot). Washed it a few times in the dishwasher as well since they got dirty and had no issues. The shorter pot holders work with different shape of handles (we have round and flat ones). They have ridges on one side which help securely hold the pot. In all, definitely happy with purchase.

When my mother-in-law passed away we inherited her cast iron collection. I love the fact that they were so well seasoned but they were hard to handle when hot. The sets allow to place one on the handle and the small end part which helps in moving the skillet around as needed. I just throw them in the dishwasher to clean and they’re ready to go

Overall these due their job just fine, they aren't a very tight fit but if you use the grip on both sides then they don't need to be. Makes adjusting a hot pan much easier than it was before.

Good for cast iron pots / skillets & others that get hot handles. The small curved are great for draining pasta from Dutch oven & casserole dishes. I've had some like these for pot handles. These are better, more secure. I really like the smaller ones for the thumb handles on the opposite side of large handles on skillets, casserole dishes & pasta pots.

The fit is pretty good for our cast iron handles. The problem would be that if the handle is particularly hot, you can feel the heat through the silicone. So if you have to hold the pot or pan up for a while, it may become too hot to continue and a break is needed. Another issue is that there is some slight side-to-side slippage when tilting the pot/pan for long enough, which is exacerbated by the heat of the cast iron causing the silicone to stretch/soften a bit. In our case there isn't enough space for there to be a complete turn or flip of the silicone grip, but it could make one a bit weary if holding up your cast iron is a struggle. I don't think these are meant to be kept on the cast iron while cooking bit we have left a set on a time or two, and found that it became damaged (the long handle grip blackened, and the small grip chipped and broken found the weight of the cast iron once used to grip after the heating). They're easy enough to clean, remove, and identify (green so you can tell they're on or not before grabbing the cast iron handle). Also nice to have a backup set. Would just appreciate some higher quality and heat resistance.
