Way too spicy
I just about burnt my tongue off due to the spiciness of this soup. To rescue it, I had to add 2 quarts of broth. Even with that it is still spicy, but tolerable.

Yummy and quick but too pricey
I like this noodle dinner pack from Sunturi. It contains zero calorie noodles, herbs, and tom yum sauce. You boil a little water, add the sauce and seasoning pack, add protein ie meat, veggies, or nothing then cook, then add the noodles. The next instruction before serving is to add coriander which was not included. I have had zero calorie noodles before made with glucomannan powder, they are horrible. The ones included are made from soy powder, zantham gum, and marine algae. I really liked these, they are tender and more like a traditional noodle. As a diabetic I will be looking for this type of noodle as a pasta substitute. The flavor of the soup was coconut with a hint of citrus. I liked it. There are some things I had problems with, first the seasoning pack. It is lime leaf and other dried leaves stems, roots etc. They are not edible and there is no mention about removing them. I recommend making a sachet or straining out the seasonings before using. They can be used for presentation easier this way or just discarded. Second they say to use coriander which is not included. Finally the price, which for a one serving noodle soup you have to make yourself is ridiculous. It has ranged from 11$ to 14$ dollars as of this review. If there were better instructions about what to do with seasonings or they were included in a sachet (cheese cloth), and it came with a packet of coriander 4 stars. If it were a much better value price wise I would have given it 5 stars with the other additions. However as is, 3 stars.

Such a great alternative to regular “ramen”
So I’ve been doing CICO (calories in/calories out) and trying to lose weight. With that said, ramen just doesn’t fit in my calorie budget (well it does) but it’s just very little for such a large calorie portion. So I don’t have it any more. I’ve been craving it though and so when I saw this, I had to try it. Almost to good to be true with the low calories and no carbs! But this is such a great alternative to regular “ramen”. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive for one box. The flavor is kind of tangy spicy but really yummy. I was unsure because when I was boiling the spices - it was a little funky but it actually tastes so yummy. I added broccoli, edamame and some Canadian bacon to mine and it was perfect. I will say, don’t try to eat the spice pack it includes. Boil the spices and then strain the broth from it but don’t try to eat them. I did and I don’t think you’re supposed to. The noodles themselves were pretty flavorless. The texture wasn’t terrible. And it’s a good portion. I will purchase a couple more but they’re going to be only for super strong ramen cravings because the price tag is a bit much for one box.

I liked the broth but that's it
I eat noodles all the time, and I love spicy food, so I thought this would be great for me. It wasn't.Good things first: The sauce/broth is excellent. It really does taste like tom yum you would get at a Thai restaurant. The soup is easy to make and is customizable. I threw in bell pepper and carrots. If I had shrimp, I would have added that. Now the bad things. I didn't like the noodles. They were weirdly crunchy (like a partly cooked green bean) and had an odd flavor. Maybe that's normal for keto noodles, but I didn't like them. The dried spices are inedible, which I knew. It's easy to pick out the pepper and the lime leaf, but there are so many pieces of dried lemongrass, some very small, that I was constantly picking them out. (I guess technically you could eat the dried spices, but wouldn't improve your experience.)I don't recommended this unless you're on a keto diet and are okay with odd low-carb noodles. Also consider tying the spices in a bit of cheesecloth to make them easier to take out.
