Works well
As an avid hobbyist of amateur radio, was looking into the raspberry pi aspect for radio, communication, and found this product to be a good quality and an excellent price. I’ve had a device in operation for roughly 2 years now with no issues.

Don't waste you time
If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I purchased this since I already had a few raspberry Pi. Soldered in the LED screen, downloaded and imaged Pi-Star to SD card, added WPA supplicant conf file and booted this unit on the Pi. Entered Pi-star configuration and everything seemed great. After a configuring Mode, OLED, Frequency and details. I rebooted the Pi. Everything came up beautifully. I was on Dstar with no issues but moments later the Hotspot would no longer PTT, Display was no longer functional, and I would get no response from the unit. COS light came on and would hang on TX per Admin Dashboard without my radio transmitting, however, no information was being forwarded. Tried Offsets, Updates, different frequency and even imaged a new SD card with no luck. Spent enough hours troubleshooting with absolutely no indication or relevant shell debug output.

Works Great
Works great on both 2 meter and 70 cm bands. Makes a nice little digital hotspot just add a raspberry pi zero w, an micro sdcard, and a USB power source for the pi. I used a 10,000ma power bank
