Birds were hanging out right next to the kite
I just watched the birds sit right under the kite. They pulled off poop in the yard were no different and also very close to the bird kite.

rig a different string. Mine flew away day one
This needs to come with a sturdier string/cord. It broke off the first day and our winds never reach over 15 knots. garbage string.
