Worked great until it came apart while coming back out. It was about 29’ up. I thought they were all fastened together. I had a camera and attached it to the poles. As you can see in the video.I might drill out the spring part and put a 1/4” bolt and lock nut in its place. I do not want it to happen again.Lucky I got it out.

Was surprisingly easy to figure out and use. We use the fireplace often and this provides a relatively clean and efficient way to keep the chimney clear, without having to pay triple for a chimney sweeper.

This product has saved me hundreds. Now instead of paying someone $125-$150 to clean it I can do it myself with this easy to use kit. It does an excellent job and the soft brush will not damage your chimney liner.

This kit worked perfectly for me. I live in upstate New York and use my wood stove daily 4-5 months a year. I followed the advice in the reviews here and used a small piece of duct tape over each extension fitting and drove the cleaner slowly up through the chimney from the exterior cleanout to the top and back with a corded drill, adding then removing extensions one at a time as I went. It took about 15 minutes and restored the full draft on my stove, removing a decent amount of creosote. I recommend combining this product with a weekly creosote treatment, I found that the treatments made the creosote dry/ashy and much easier to remove. Great DIY solution!
