Great inexpensive large storage 👏
I'm having the problem as other reviews.. The lid doesn't close right but other than that it's great. I'm going to use it to store my children's outdoor toys in the backyard. I should get a good few years out of it with the kiddos being rough on it.

Great!
Works great for medium sized people but small people escape easily!

Good for the price
Now, you have to realize that this is inexpensive compared to other brands. With that being said, this is a nice storage box. I wanted something to put all of my son's outdoor toys and a few other things in. It went together fine, but now the lid is just a tad out of alignment for some reason, but it's not a big deal at all just have to double check it. So far it has remained waterproof. We've had several heavy rains and nothing has gotten wet inside. Also, the lid does not blow open when it's really windy out which is great. One great feature is it has a hole to be able to put a small lock on it.

Disappointing Quality and Assembly
I own several Suncast products and have been very satisfied with them. This deck box is a real disappointment. It is very lightweight and flimsy. I followed the directions carefully but there are two gaps on the front corners that will not close (see photo). I contacted Suncast customer service and they told me to beat the areas with a rubber mallet. I tried that and nothing changed. Once assembled, this deck box cannot be taken apart (verified by Suncast), so I have no way to return to Amazon. I have asked Suncast to help find an acceptable solution. Update: Suncast sent disassembly instructions and I was able to take it apart to return to Amazon. Disassembly does damage some of the parts, but it was never meant to be taken apart.

the lid is still sturdy after six months because I rarely open it
I have a small balcony that is around 4-5 feet wide by 10 feet long, and I purchased this in order to get a bit extra storage space. There were still plenty of balcony space after I installed this box.Where I live, it rains 200 days out of a year, and we recently had a snow storm, the box is still there! Things are dry. That is all I wanted. The balcony does have a roof on top, but still, the rain and snow do get on top of the lid. I didn't even lock the lid, the lid is still sturdy after six months because I rarely open it.Box is definitely flimsy, but it serves the storage purpose! As long as you don't sit on it or drag it around. It was very easy to put together.I put my whole 6 feet plastic Christmas tree box in this box and I still have spaces for more gardening stuffs!Over all, it is good enough for its price.
