Flavored Extract (1 oz, Sassafras)

I love Licorice, for allergy reasons with commercial brands, I can't eat my favorite candy. So I made my own. It has been really complicated to find a Flavor that tastes Licorice but not Anise. So there's a few things to explain here. First, this seller is awesome, excellent and friendly customer service. This Flavoring smells great as soon as you open up the bottle, much better flavor than other commercial brands that I've tried. However (I know it's my problem, not the product itself) I do really like a heavy Licorice taste and I had to use the whole bottle in one batch of candy. I'll continue my trial-error quest for Licorice flavor, while I'll find it I'll stick to this brand.

It sure added flavor to my peanut butter cookies. But I usually have to double my recipes so I used about half the bottle.

I just received it and it says that the ingredients are alcohol, natural, and ARTIFICIAL flavors. I never would have purchased it if it had stated in the amazon product page that it contained artificial flavors. If it stated it upfront, then consumers could make that choice, but since they seem to hide it, I consider this deceptive advertising.

I used this eggnog flavor for macaron filling. Some of the Lorann flavors taste more like chemicals and not the flavor they are supposed to be, but the eggnog was great. Highly recommend.

I loved the flavor...use it alot thats the problem... It to expensive to indulge yourself...wish it was a little cheaper by the time you add shipping the cost is to much

Recipe - in a large coffee mug add: 1/2 Cup Chia Seed. 2 1/2 cups Almond Milk. Butterscotch Flavoring Stevia or other sweetner stir really well and place in the refrigerator overnight. The Chia seeds will absorb everything and become the consistancy of pudding. When I first got this, I tried mixing it with the Chia Seed and Almond milk and it tasted terrible. It smelled like butterscotch, but tasted like medicine. Then, (duh) I put in some sweetner (I think I used Stevia) and it became Chia seed Butterscotch Pudding. I have to appologize to All Star Extracts, because I gave them a terrible rating, before I added the sweetner. This "pudding" is so good I'm ordering two more bottles.

I added a dropper top so I can add it to my Almond milk. Taste like egg nog to me with out the guilt. I also added it to non fat yogurt and it taste good too. If you like the thickness of egg nog you can add it to non fat creamer and milk or almond milk.

I bought this so I can make non dairy egg nog and ended up finding that I can make my favorite holiday coffee drink with this! I make Lavazza coffee in my little Bialetti pot, combine with ice, unsweetened vanilla protein powder and Lakanto sweetener with this eggnog flavor and it is delicious! I used to love to mix that coffee with straight nog over ice but gave up all dairy and miss that treat. This gives me a great way to get that lovely eggnog iced coffee without sugar or dairy. Give it a try!
