I just bought an induction stove and needed a stainless steal pot of this size. There were so many options , but I had to pick one. I'm really glad I picked this one. It's a really nice pot! I steam asparagus and brussel sprouts in it, boil potatoes, stuff like that and it's perfect for serving two adults. It has a nice heft, with a thick bottom. I probably use it everyday and haven't had any problems with it. I totally recommend this pot.

I have 5-ply pots and pans and they are probably 3 times the weight of this Pot. That being said, I guess that for a steamer it's fine. It just seems overpriced. $50 for a small pot with a steaming basket is a lot of money to pay for something that's this light weight. The steaming basket itself is very light weight. I do have a larger steamer that has probably 3 times the weight of this pot that came with one of my sets. I purchased this pot because it's smaller. It's too light weight to use as a Saucepan - I was hoping that I would be able to use it as such. A waste of money really. I'll keep it because it's a perfect size to steam one 10 oz ramekin.

My primary purpose was to find a good quality steamer for veggies and fish and this Memecook pot is perfect for that. I can easily steam quarter pounds of beans and carrots each and top it with some spinach. The heat distribution is uniform and quick. The handle doesn't get hot. I haven't noticed any spotting and I have used it daily on a gas stove for 2 weeks and gets thrown in the dishwasher. Really good quality and serves its purpose well.Amazon Warehouse sent me the product with top lid unassembled. I reached out to the seller and they resolved the issue to my full satisfaction. 5 stars to the seller for quick response and solution.Maybe the only thing that could have been designed better is the pouring edge. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality and it's a very useful addition to my kitchen.

After conditioning the pot as directed I used it with the steamer insert and the glass lid to steam some Brussel spouts.....it was very advantageous to be able to see thru the lid to determine when they were done.

The weight is good…. heavy enough for even heat distribution.The steamer attachment cooks fish and vegetables perfectly. Can’t do without it!

I use it for tea .very good quality.

I have been looking for a double steamer and had difficulty finding one the size I needed and with the features we wanted. It isn't huge but is great for steaming some Asian dishes and even English dishes. The stainless steal is perfect, but it's one drawback is that it needs careful cleaning. I found that putting a piece of cheesecloth of paper in the top steaming helps some products not stick. I would recommend this product.
