Tiny Package, Big Punch
So much game for such a little package! I've loved this game in solo, 2-player, and 4-player modes so far. No 2 games have been alike! I'm very impressed with the variety, gameplay, and theme. It's also the perfect introductory game to worker placement, since it's so simple to teach and quick to play.

Nice little game to carry with you.
I really enjoyed this little game. And yes, it is little.I plan on keeping this game in my car, that way, when I’m at some kind of event (and I drove there) I will always have it on me. It is super small and does not require too much of a footprint to play.It may be just me, but I had some issues with the rules.I wasn’t sure if when you picked a location that gave you mints if you got those immediately, or if you got them at the end of the round, and unless I missed it, the rules didn’t clarify that. The other major issue I had was how many mints each person gets after each round.See the attached image of the rules, that is where I had the issue. It states: “Each player gains (image of mint)”. Well, how many? You start with 3, so do you gain another 3? How hard would it have been to put a 1 before the image? Not really an issue and easily fixed, but the rules don’t fit into the tin well. I just clipped the corners off a tad and it fits much better. There are some balance issues with the game. It isn’t bad, but some cards, like the Lottery Deed, and basically win you the game if it comes out early. It is very easy to run out of Mints in a 3 or 4 player game. They say to just make due with a replacement as they are not limited to the game, but Mint Works should have come with more.Solo PlayI love games that include solo play. I’ve only had a few solo games, and I find them a bit too easy. In the tin, you get two double-sided AI cards. These cards tell you how to play for the AI. You also need to setup the location cards in a specific order as the AI will tell you what cards you should try and use before others.Let's explain Rachael’s AI. (See attached image that says, Rachael) She starts with 5 mints, you start with 3. On the bottom, she will always buy the plan that is the most expensive first, or if there is a tie, she will look at the icons and buy in that order.Knowing how they play, and in what order they will pick the locations really helps you plan your strategy.Pros+ Small+ Decent strategy for its size (feels like it's a bigger game)+ Solo Play+ Simple rulesCons- Small rule issues- Needed more 'mints'-Slight balance issues

What a great game!
Purchased for me by my kids for Christmas (I had it on my wishlist). I played it with my wife and she actually liked it. It's a deeply thoughtful little game in a mint tin! I took it to my daughter's mock trial at a local court house and another parent and I played it for an hour on a little plastic table. It's easy to teach, depthy, fun and COMPACT!

Fun for different types of gamers
I love this game. I enjoy more involved strategic games, while my friends and family like lighter games. This is the perfect combination. It is easy to learn and fun to play. I keep it in my purse so I can whip it out wherever I am. Games are quick and each one a little different depending on the plans that come up.

Great Worker Placement game for beginners
I really like the small footprint of this game, and it is really simple to explain to others who are not really into boardgames. While it might run out of steam after several plays, you can play with the included "expansions" that add some replay-ability to the game.I actually bought two copies, to give one away in case I find someone who enjoys it as much as I do.

How did they fit so much game in such a small box?!?
First, let me say that the overall design of this game is outstanding. It plays like a much larger, more involved game and because it is so small it is easy to pack, wherever you go. There are a couple of problems though that keep it from being flawless. First, I'm not sure who wrote the rule book, but it is horrible. There really aren't any concise tutorial videos out there either, but the game is so intuitive that after a while you will figure it out despite the poor instructions. Second, I think the "Vault" card is too powerful and have decided to remove it entirely. The last thing, which others have mentioned, is that the rules don't fit well, but this is easily fixed by trimming the corners slightly. This is a really great game whose biggest problems are easily overcome by simply playing it a few times.

Fun, quick, simple
Nice fast little worker-placement game. I’ve only gotten to play it once, because my brother liked it so much that he borrowed my copy to play with his son and I’m not sure when I’ll see it again.

Get this game!
This package is really great. It's portable, has robust solitaire play, and is easy to teach. It's got a nice, short length and isn't too light or heavy. This game is easily worth the $15 asking price. I just hope that the creators keep enough in stock so that its market price can remain reasonable so everyone who wants one can own a copy.
