I bought this because he was cute and inexpensive and I needed a birdfeeder. I was afraid that the little tiny seeds would fall through the holes along the side, though, and some of them do fall through, but it ended up being OK. I don’t have a lot of experience with birdfeeders, so I can’t compare it to others, but I do notice that, the mourning doves started, congregating, and the Blue Jays tend to hang out around it. It is also easy to fill. However, I think I overfilled it because the birdseed got wet with the rain and I’m going to have to dump it all and refill it with dry said so it does not mold. This will come with experience I am sure.

The base is too short for even chickadees to sit on. Nice, but poor design.
