I LOVE this gadget! I have an iPhone 6 with just 16 GB of memory. I'm always running out of storage space. Since I have just finally paid off my phone I'm not keen to drop down hundreds of dollars to upgrade my storage.This memory is very easy to use. It has a narrow shape so I can easily insert it into my lightening port without having to remove my case. You have to use their app to transfer your photos and videos to the device. It works well and doesn't take too long. Came in handy when I was on a recent vacation. The app is very simple in design and use. Transferring the photos and videos to your home computer are so much easier than hooking up my phone directly. It plugs into the regular USB port and reads like any other flash drive. So easy!I like that it has a tether so I have been able to attach it to my key ring. It is never lost that way. It is small which I prefer over others I have tried and returned.This is a simple, inexpensive and efficient way to extend the storage of your phone.

I am suspicious of the high reviews for this drive. What I received is an item of very poor quality. I downloaded the recommended app from Apple Store on my iPad Pro, connected the drive, and was able to copy 1 image before it stopped responding. I then tried to connect the USB side to my MacBook Pro, and started laughing when I realized it was so poorly made that it could note even insert into the port (too tight). I have never seen a USB connection built with such low tolerance before.

There are no instructions on how to download your files, only a small insert for Q and A. Upon initial receipt of the product I was very frustrated with my purchase as I am not a tech savvy person. From my initial review I did receive an email asking me what I tried and they gave me suggestions to get my pictures downloaded. The person at customer service was helpful and followed up with me until I was satisfied with my purchase and getting my pictures. The new instructions did work and I was able to get some pictures. This product cannot work if your photos are stored in the cloud, but overall it does work when you know how to download and save. I have given them an upgrade to 3 stars due to customer service and that with the right instructions the product will work to store photos, etc.

And that is "How do you transfer the files??!" Well, read on.After reading the reviews, I decided this is exactly what I needed to back up my thousands of photos and videos. When I logged into the app and plugged in the device, there isn't an obvious sign showing how to transfer those files over. So I emailed the seller and within hours, they answered my question and in the format that you can follow easily. Now, I have successfully transferred all of my files and it transferred over 3000 files in about 15 minutes! I with the other reviewer that gave this one star. I can't get it to work and there are no instructions. I downloaded the App on my phone just fine but it is not clear how I can get pictures off my phone onto the drive and from the drive to PC. Fustrating is a "kind" way to express what I am feeling....it is not intuative!

This item speaks for itself. I love having this on my keychain to use whenever I need it. Not only is it a fast USB 3.0 device to have on you at all times as a thumb drive, but it also connect to your iPhone. I love being able to have all my photos and videos quickly shifted from phone to the drive and vice versa, and done so rather quickly at that. I am able to practically double the memory of my phone by having all my media saved on my keychain. You can potentially have the memory on your phone purely for apps and music, while using the extragiga for pictures and videos. It has a well built metal feel, with one side being lightning connection with a plastic cover and the other side being USB 3.0 to connect to your computer. All in all it is a must have for all iPhone users to quickly move videos and pictures back and forth from their computer and phone.

My husband wanted this for our iPhones. It has 32gb which is really good. Holds a lot on it. We like to travel and we are always taking pictures of our adventures. I get tired of scrolling and scrolling thru my phone. So, this is something that I never thought of before and glad my husband did.NOTE: You need to download the app, which is super simple.I like that it's super tiny and stores easily in my little purse when we are out and about in town. My husband says it's actually a really well-made device and he's very happy with it. I am too because I can store more images now
