Hi-Q Furnishings 8 x Chrome Gliders With Metal Inserts For Beds, Sofas, Footstools.

Used these to replace the typical cheap plastic casters that often come with expensive beds. With a heavy mattress on top, the bed was immovable for cleaning on a carpet base. These sliders look pretty good in chrome and black, but I was concerned with the amount of fairly light plastic versus metal. However, I needn’t have worried, the steel pegs fitted into the old holes left by the casters and it took no more than a couple of minutes to finish the job. The bed slides with relative ease and with the onus that they don’t leave indelible divots in the carpet and underlay.

Fitted to my divan base easily, bit plastic and cheap but you get what you pay for. Also missing the inserts that are advertised with them but I only needed the gliders as didn't want to put the supplied wheels on my bed that came with it on laminate flooring.

Used on bed to replace castor. It allowed the bed to stay in place better on a laminate floor

Once I installed these to a heavy sideboard it can now be moved about which was virtually impossible before.

A great improvement over casters. No small dent in the carpet to try and get the wheels to move. I will be fitting them to all the beds. New and existing ones. Recommended
