Very cheap and not the best of quality in comparison to others that I have used previously. Be careful when using and drilling any part of the shell.

The top covers are quite flimsy and brittle, 2 split while simple trying to place the cover on the box once they where fixed in place. Those that survived installation have smarted up the cabling for CCTV. I don't think they'd survive a blow from a football etc. If you have concerns over such abuse, look from something stronger. They'll do me for now.

I would question the water resistance of this item beyone ip44 The IP55 claim is a stretch to say the very least.There is not even a seal on the lidGrommets are not a tight fit and neither is the lid.Far Lower quality that I had expected.

As expected, does a good job

I'd go as far as to say these are a scam product. They are allegedly rated IP55. There is no way this is true. I could tell as soon as I opened the package.There is no seal/gasket on the lid. The lid is not even a tight fit and can be removed with a light pull with your fingers.IP 55 means they should be "resistant to a jet of water". I tested one out of the box (so no entry holes or screw fixing holes cut) by running under a trickling tap for 10 seconds. The photo attached shows how resistant it was.If you are looking for external junction boxes, then look elsewhere.Now on their way back to Amazon for a refund.
