A classic. A monument to Star Trek.A difficult build, tough job lighting it, but what a reward at the end.

An old AMT model from the seventies updated. With patience, results can be impressive.

This is an AMT re-issue and much improved kit over the original from the 1970's. Round2 out did themselves on improving this kit so you can now assemble the entire Bridge instead of just half. My plan is to build, light and enclose the model for viewing. Round2 improved all the detailing of the console pieces even including the science and helm station viewers. There are plenty of after market part options available to enhance the model, including metal console detailing, decals and lighting. My hope is that Round2 branches into other Star Trek Set models such as Engineering or even Sickbay.

Great kit for the Star Trek fan.. This is the ( original series ) Enterprise bridge.. This is the new upgraded bridge, full circle with all the desk tops, view screens.. Full decal sheet and six body figures and nine heads to build a bridge crew .. Could be lite ( view screens , light's ex..) if you choose . Very nice kit with good detail.

I liked the model but it does require some skill in painting, especially the crew. If you have an airbrush, I assume it would be much easier but I used a brush and it took some time. It has a few very fine detail lines like the the red edging along the various stations. The decals are nice pulls it all together. I did not like the fit of the parts. Mine did not fit perfectly and I had to sand some sections. Overall, I enjoyed building it.

Tenerlo de nuevo me vienen buenos recuerdos, ya que desde niño Star Trek marco parte de mi niñes. Espero que, el que lo adquiera también tenga buenos recuerdos. Pronto lo empezaré a pintar y armar y subiré unas imágenes.

I built the previous incarnation of this AMT Enterprise bridge back in the 90s. At that time, you only got Spock, Kirk and Sulu figures with it. From what I can tell, the bridge itself is exactly the same this time around, but they've upped the figure count to 6 bodies with 10 interchangeable heads.That still leaves you one bridge crew member short. Poor Chekov. At least they give you one female body and a nice sculpt of Uhura's head to put on it.Remarkably, while my model from the 90s is long gone, I found the 3 figures from that original model in my kit bit drawer and was able to make up a full bridge crew!The head sculpts from the original are FAR superior to the heads that come with the current kit. I can't tell if it's a matter of the molds getting worn out or just new, inferior sculpts. I chose to use my original Spock, Kirk and Sulu heads. i mixed and matched the bodies (no appreciable difference between the new and old ones) and finally got Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura, Sulu, Scotty AND Chekov onto the bridge.The model is generally well fitted. I only needed a bit of putty on the seams of the figures and was able to just glue and paint all the bridge components without any extra effort beyond filing a few edges.The one disappointment is the decals. They're amazing, visually, but the fit is lousy. The printed part fits nicely in the raised squares on the consoles, but the clear edges make EVERY decal too wide and you have to fiddle the edges down or trim the decals before applying to get a nice fit. You also need to file down the raised detail on the command chair and navigation console if you want to apply the decals rather than paint those details. I'd be nice if they'd included a smooth version of those parts as an option.I rated it a 5 star kit because it just looks so darned good when it's done. In fairness and as a builder, it's more like a 4 and a half.

Il modellino non è particolarmente dettagliato e la plastica non è delle migliori, ma è anche l'unico che abbia trovato che ti permette di ricostruire il ponte di comando dell'Enterprise. Potevano inserire più personaggi, dei quali abbiamo la testa ma non i corpi, ma resta un acquisto quasi obbligato per gli appassionati di modellismo e di Star Trek. Il prezzo è un po' alto.

Un modèle vraiment original pour cette passerelle de l'Enterprise de la première série. Le choix des personnages est intéressant, même si l'on aurait souhaité pouvoir tous les représenter (il n'y a pas autant de corps que de têtes !) Ca manque aussi un peu de personnages mythiques comme Q ou les tribbles. Mais le modèle sort de l'ordinaire, bien sûr tout sera dans la peinture car sinon vous obtiendrez un immense machin blanc sans âme et sans intérêt. A noter le choix de ce qui est sur l'écran, une bonne idée qu'on pourra améliorer facilement. D'ailleurs vu la taille il doit même être possible de bricoler un mini écran LCD commandé par un raspberry Pi pour afficher des bouts de vidéo piochés dans la série.En bref un modèle qui va demander du travail et qui ne présente pas d'intérêt si on n'aime pas la série, mais qui n'a pas d'équivalent.
