Oil Tycoon (Jewel Case) - PC oh!! well i had played a oil drilling game long years ago i dont know if this is a newer or older version then the one i played... the one i played was basic select a land drill... some lands were easier to drill and made more $$$ so long as you had the money to buy the land.. in my version there wasn't a group of people to select as your charecter and vehicles around. so my quest to find the game i played once before still eludes me the hard part was getting 80% of the marketit arrived fast enough

As with most of the tycoon games, its a very good game regarding the oil industry. Exploration, shipping, production, refining, distribution, maintenance and even playing the stock market. Only knock is its older and a follow up was never done.

This is a very well made game with many facets. When you build a stable empire, it gets tedious, but it is rather addictive. However, it does need many, many clicks of the mouse, but I still like it. Researching technologies can be a pain, and when you play against the AI, you need to be fast and agressive. However, when you get good at the game, it is very easy. If you are in to strategy games, this is a good game, it's not too easy and not too difficult. I would reccomend this to a friend.

I believe I paid 3 or 4 bucks for this game but even then it was a waste of that money and of the three or so hours I spent trying to enjoy this game. This game is far too tedious (buying food for oil workers?) and the gameplay shallow. This game is by a significant margin the worst of the forty or so games I have bought in my life.

I thought the game was really fun but after a few hours i got sick of doing the same think over and over again i wouldnt recomend buying this game.
