Damita Jo Clean Version

This is the CD I listen to 24/7 it took me awhile to buy it because it wasn’t on my list of favorites. But taking time to listen it became one of my favorites. It plays smooth and doesn’t skip at all which I love. I have something to listen to in my car.

Although As A Major Fan Of Janet Jackson. I'm Appalled How Justin Timberlake Was Giver All Is Forgiven Card.. And Still Got To Be A Huge Superstar. While Janet Was Dead On Arrival. This Album Is Explicit For Good Reasons. The Explicit Version Is The Only Way To Get Warmth And Moist.. Just Like Later Pressings Of Her 2001 Multi Platinum Album All For YOU.. The Clean Version Removes Both Of Those Sexually Explicit Tracks. Retitles Sexhibition As Exhibition. Even Removing The Line Relax, It's Just Sex... The Explicit Version Is Also The Only Way To Get The Full Chorus Of Like You Don't Love Me.. Plus All The Sexually Moaning. This Album Is Best In It's Explicit Form.. Get ready becuase Damita Jo has arrived! The album is a wonderful medley of the inner side of Janet, Damita Jo. This album has everything, for the sexual side that she has always portraed to the party have-fun girl that we all know and fell in love with in the beginning. It is a closer look and understanding of the pop star. Opening the disc is the title track Damita Jo which gives the listener a small glimps of Janet saying "sexy quiet, shy but down for a good time. taures my sign, like rain but love the sunshine." This and other songs gives the listener a more intamate look into her life while other songs like Sexehibition and Strawberry Bounce, go deeper into her sexual side. Songs like All Nite and R&B Junkie are the songs on the track that give the party side of Janet. Songs like My Baby and Island and the single I Want You tells of her love life. Overall the CD is very well put together and gives the audience opportunity to grow more with Janet. Great CD--Go and get it right away!

I am a fan, I love her past cd's, particularly the Velvet Rope, Janet, and All For You. Control and Rhythm Nation 1814 were good and have good cuts on them but not amongst my favorite. This one is growing on me, I was so excited to get it. It wasn't the same type of excitement when "All For You" came out, but a different kind, dampened by all the superbowl controversy, I side with J of course, they made such a big deal over that but nothihng was done by the FCC over Britney/Madonna's kiss on MTV last fall when what she did you could barely see which had more of an impact on america I think!!The album is different and something I wasn't expecting, I was expecting her usual pop/dance hits, the cd is very calm and mellow, it has nice cuts on it it's more r&b, which is fine. I think after listenting to it, I'm not dissapointed in it, I'm just surprised there are not more of the edgy dance tracks that we come to know Ms. J. for, that i've become accustomed to, somethng where she can showcase those great dance moves. But overall I am a fan and it's good, I'm going to buy a 2nd copy just to prove the FCC that Janet rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a life-long fan of Janet's and I must say she's done it again! Please don't listen to the negative reviews this album has received. Listen to it yourself! A lot of the tracks are classic Janet, though a lot of them have a new and different sound. The dance tracks are great and so are the slow jams. Janet Jackson is nearing 40 and she still looks and sounds great. Give the woman some credit! I'm listening to "Just a Little While" as I am writing this. If you liked all of her older material I really don't see how it's possible to NOT like this song. It has all of the qualities that we fans have come to expect from a trademark Janet song. To sum it all up, JANET JACKSON ROCKS AND SO DOES THIS ALBUM!!

Compared to all of Janet's music, this was the most boring. I love her music, but I wouldn't suggest this one on a long drive.

Janet has done it again!! This Cd is Awesome, it has a much different style than previous songs she has done. I really like "Island Life" that will be a big hit for her in the summer time, i also enjoy "Strawberry Bounce", "Thinking bout my ex", "Sexhibition", "Damita Jo", "R&B Junkie", "Moist" and my favorite is "All Night(dont stop)" the bomb CD this is a major hit for her, people need to listen to the music and stop hating. She is an innovator, and people need to respect that. Go tell your friends about this CD. Get it Now

Damita Jo è l album piu bello di Janet.Non lasciatevi fuorviare dal flop di vendite ("solo" 3 milioni di copie!!!) La critica americana non aveva apprezzato i testi troppo espliciti, ne aveva perdonato l incidente del Superbowl. Di conseguenza anche le radio statunitensi non avevano promosso e supportato adeguatamente l artista. In Giappone alcune frasi sono state addirittura omesse da varie tracce musicali, poiché inizialmente era stata bloccata la vendita dell album in edizione integrale!In realtà Damita Jo si lascia ascoltare (e ballare) piacevolmente dall inizio alla fine, ed è pervasa per lunghi tratti da rare e ricercate atmosfere caraibiche che danno quasi l impressione di trovarsi di notte, in riva al mare, su un Isola, in dolce compagnia... Per correttezza preciso che la sensazione è solo virtuale, ahimè, ma a volte è davvero fortissima! ...in particolare in brani come:-spending time with you-island life-my babyCome nel piu classico stile di Janet, non mancano splendidi lenti delicati, quali:-thinking 'bout my ex-moist-truly...ci sono anche alcune tracce riservate in particolare a quanti apprezzano il buon funky:-R&B junkie-like you don't love me-Island lifeMa non possiamo non menzionare anche:-all nite-I want you-slolovenel complesso l album appare variegato tra stili musicali quel tanto che basta per mantenere l attenzione e l interesse vivi dalla prima all ultima traccia.Insomma Damita Jo è sempre di ottima compagnia e personalmente lo sento e risento spesso, molto più degli altri lavori di Janet, perché contiene molte delle sue canzoni più belle, sono tutte belle, e cosi non devo neanche fare la selezione delle tracce!È l album più rappresentativo di Janet, della sua dolcezza e della sua sensualità, tanto è vero che porta per intero il suo nome

J'avais déjà acheté trois copies de Damita Jo pour en donner un à mes amis tellement que j'ai adoré ce cd. L'album Damita Jo Import vaut vraiment la peine d'être acheté surtout pour les deux bonus track I'M HERE et PUT YOUR HANDS ON,ces deux chansons sont excellente. Il y en a une très R&B et l'autre assez dance.Dans la pochette vous retrouverez même les paroles en japonnais et en anglais également.Bref, mes morceaux préférés sur ce disque sont sans doute DON'T STOP (ALL NITE),SLO LOVE,R&B JUNKIE une très dance et groove ensuite SEXHIBITION,JUST A LITTLE WHILE,I WANT YOU et bien sûr les deux bonus track. Pour moi dans mon coeur c'est un excellent album import qui en vaut le coût.

Janet Jackson's "Damita Jo" is one of the best albums of 2004.It has Charisma, Soul, A Lot of Effort and Talent mixed in one CD at the same time. I Really don't understand why this album is so underrated, it has great tracks and lots of standouts, Janet should be proud of her work.This Is A Review of the tracks of "Damita Jo":Looking for Love / Damita Jo / Sexhibition :"Looking For Love" was the perfect song to start the album, followed by Damita Jo & the Brilliant "Sexhibition". Those tracks put me in the Janet Mood. The Only problem is that those songs are very Short.Strawberry Bounce / My Baby: Upbeat Songs, Very Good Ones.Jay Z is featured in Strawberry Bounce, making a great but again, Short song. My Baby is more like my style, on this track is featured Kanye West, the Rapper and R&B producer of the moment in the states.The Islands / Spending Time With You / The Magic Hour / Island Life:One Of My Favorite parts of "Damita Jo". "The Islands" is an Interlude, a very relaxing interlude. Followed by "Spending Time with You" an Amazing R&B Track, Deliciously performed by Janet. After this "The Magic Hour" starts, this is another relaxing interlude with Janet's Voice. To Finish with this part of the album is "Island Life", an Upbeat R&B Janet track.All Nite (Don't Stop) / R&B Junkie / I Want You:All Nite is one of my favorite singles of 2004, Janet simply puts all her soul in this track - Catchy, Seductively enough to atract the public. R&B Junkie is another Upbeat track, this song has a very Old School Feeling for a strange reason. I Want You is a R&B Ballad, very sweet and lovely, one of the singles from "Damita Jo"Like You Don't Love Me / Thinkin' Bout My Ex:Beautiful Janet Songs. This tracks now put me in the "Slow R&B" mood for the next couple of songs.Warmth / Moist:Sexy, Fresh & Great tracks. Perfect ones for those rainy days, Janet really mastered the art of the "R&B Slow tracks" and this songs shows that.It All Comes Down to Love / Truly / One:This Songs are Nothing Special in this album. Again, Janet is adding to the album Short Songs, We want more Janet !Slolove / Country / Just a Little While:Slo Love is my favorite song of the album, it's Very Catchy and Should be a Single, the best song of "Damita Jo". Country is a short Interlude that lead us to "Just A Little While", the last track on the album & the first single of "Damita Jo". I didn't liked "Just A Little While" at first, I must admit that It has grow on me a lot, but I still thinking that it was a mistake to release this track as the lead single of the album.Overall, Damita Jo is one of the best R&B albums of the last years, I think it's better than "The Velvet Rope" and that says a lot.
