Windshield Dashboard Car Mount Holder for cell phones

Update:Well this device finally broke. One of the gripper arms broke off when I was installing my phone. Trash now. Should have bought something decent in the first place. This product should be removed from Amazon.Original:I have had this for a couple of weeks now. The rubber suction seems to be ok. The mechanism is too loose to hold the phone up. The claws do not provide enough length to hold a phone with an extended battery, however removing the rubber padding (which is quite thick) does the trick. I use mine to hold the HTC phone upright while resting the bottom of the phone on the top of the dash.

I had purchased a similar product with the tabs that were molded in a while back and was pleased. I was attracted to this design as I saw this product should take less space when storing since the tabs that hold the phone fold down.I bought 2 of these to put in both my cars. The tabs are hinged and broke the very first time I tried to use it - on both the car mounts. I would avoid buying until they improve the design.

falls off want to talk only able with speaker on so bot good enough doesn;t stay where i want it i can just put on speaker and talk from my lap anyway

It broke the first time I tried to use it. The piece that holds the phone popped off as soon as I tried to put my phone in the holder

Very nice device, bought to mount to windsheild while I traveled and it stayed in place through a number of different temps. I now own 2, this is a good buy.
