They are a tad sweet, so that dropped a star. I like to think of them as pudding rather than a smoothie. :)Initially, there was one flavor I didn't care for, but by the end of the sample pack, I couldn't figure out which flavor that was.As a comparison, I just sampled the one brand of no sugar added smoothie in my grocery store, It had only 3g protein, was grainy or chalky, and tasted terrible, Taste is personal, so you may feel differently.

I am obsessed with this product and I typically buy it in the nutrition section at the grocery store (when they are not sold out!). If you incorporate a lot of protein shakes/bars/supplements in your diet the flavors are often a variation of chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. These are a fantastic alternative to the "bakery" flavors. I workout early in the morning and this is a mid-morning snack I look forward to every day. I took away one star because I feel they are a little pricey, but given how much I love them, I cannot stop buying them.

I absolutely love this product! I came across smashpacks somehow on amazon, and decided to give it a try and it’s awesome!I’ve previously tried the protein shakes and different things, but never quite found something I really liked and wanted to keep up with. Also I am a workaholic and making a smoothie every morning is not always an option for a gogogo job. With your product I have kept up with it for several weeks now and am 9 pounds down!All that have tried different protein shakes and supplements know what I’m talking about when I say they usually have that weird taste and it’s just hard to get into them because they really don’t taste great. These have NO weird protein test! I guarantee it! Mixed berry is def my favorite and orange peach second favorite! I’ve had My coworkers try them and all have been surprised by how great they taste!If you’re looking to change your diet but just can’t find something you actually like the taste of I recommend trying these! I still have my morning cup of coffee and then I eat a Smashpack once I’m in my office. It’s so filling by lunch you’re hungry but it’s a different kind of hunger because your body isn’t craving the carbs because you’ve had a great source of protein. At night we all know we get a craving for a snack, my guilty pleasure is ice cream or gelato. Instead now what I do is pop open a smashpack (you can even squeeze it into a little bowl and freeze it or cool it down for a bit) it’s just like having your favorite gelato or fruity ice cream treat, and your snack cravings are gone!!LOVE IT! Give this product a try I tell you it is worth it!

The smoothie packs were shipped quickly and nicely packed. The packages are big -- about twice the size of what I was expecting. I plan to use them when I go on all-day bicycle rides, as a quick snack every couple of hours. The large size does not fit as well in bike jersey pockets as the smaller Clif squeeze packages. On the other hand, I don't need to carry as many packets, and the caps on these packets close and seal well after a package is opened.The reason I only give these SmashPack smoothies 3 stars is because I strongly dislike the taste. For my personal tastes, these smoothies are a little too sweet, and have a strong after-taste (probably from the high concentration of whey). Taste is a individual thing, and others might think that these smoothies taste fine.

This stuff is amazing! I use it as a meal substitute and all the protein really eliminates any hunger. I’ve learned that I’ve really been eating WAY too much and don’t need NEAR the calories I was consuming. Losing weight is so much easier having this in my fridge and turning to it instead of food for meals that aren’t really all that important. I enjoy eating with my family in the evenings so that’s where I’d rather allocate more of my calories. Grabbing these makes it so easy to enjoy in the car and I actually enjoy the extra time it affords me because I don’t have to think about preparing or eating food during the day. I’m actually getting more done because I have more time- seriously, I didn’t realize how much of my time was spent preparing and eating, and it’s pre-portioned so I only eat what my body needs. I actually feel better not being so full all the time. I actually lost 30 pounds very effortlessly within 4 or so months and have kept it off easily continuing to use these. They also have two chocolate flavors to satisfy your sweet cravings that also provide tons of protein to ward off hunger.

GREAT FOR TRAVELERS/EXPLORERS WITH NUT ALLERGIES!Due to food allergies we are a peanut and tree nut free family, and we don't use products manufactured on shared lines. This can significantly limit the options we have for food on the go when we are traveling. Kari, one of the founders, was quick to respond by phone and email with the reassurance that the facility SmashPack is manufactured in is a "100% nut free facility (and free from) their trace contaminants", although she did state this was not intentionally made for those with nut allergies. (SmashPack, have you considered adjusting your packaging to reflect what other Top 8 allergens your product is free from, in addition to the soy you already list? Millions of individuals have food allergies and you may find an unintended market niche.)SmashPack provides us a protein option in a neat travel friendly package, perfect for my always-ravenous boys on our adventures. It did take them a little while to mentally adjust from the consistency they expected from past experiences of kid-themed juice pouches, as this is much thicker and less sweet, as expected. It only slowed their consumption down for a few hours, because they asked for a SmashPack at lunch, and it was gone in seconds. Now they ask for them every day, and I am happy to have an on-the-go protein option they love! Great job SmashPack! We just ordered the other two flavors to try on our next road trip!
