Quilter’s Cut 60mm Rotary Blades, 10 Pack, Fits Olfa, Fiskars, Martelli, & Truecut

This review is a replacement for my original review which had rated the product a one star.Our company uses hundreds of blades a year and normally use a different brand that has never let us down. We decided to give Quilters Cut a try to replace the other expensive brand and frankly had disappointing luck with the set of blades we received. Unfortunately instead of reaching out to the vendor I wrote a review that was less than stellar...shame on us.That review did prompt the vendor to reach out directly to us and inquire about our issues. Suffice to say, the vendor MORE than took care of the problem and remedied it without a single issue. In fact, we have since changed our standard purchase to this blade. The replacement blades we received have been working perfectly and all I can assume is that we simply received a bad batch...something the vendor was happy to take care of.My best advice - if you have any issues with these blades, reach out to the vendor instead of posting a disappointing review. Frankly I have never had such a responsive vendor and without a doubt they are fabulous.

After years, nay, decades, of using Olfa blades I had the frustrating experience of installing a sequence of new blades that would not make a clean cut. Because I didn't trust the Olfa blades any more (and they're expensive), I decided to try this off-brand blade. It cut beautifully through four layers of fabric. I haven't used it long enough to assess longevity, but I'm relieved to be cutting without hassles.

These blades are advertised as 60 mm however they are only 57 mm. It states that they are will work in a Fisker rotary cutter however they are too small for the cutter. As you press on the cutter and the wheel goes around the blade only partially comes out so you’re actually cutting with the side of the plastic cutter as well as with the blade. The blades are sharp and they probably are wonderful in a different kind of a rotary cutter however if you have a Fisker, do not buy these I am very disappointed .

I bought a ten pack in Dec 17 on the recommendation of other quilters. I didn't need them immediately so tucked them away in their little plastic container. About 5 months ago, I needed a new blade so pulled this brand new container out. The blades had been stored fine. They were still covered in oil...substantially so...no rust or anything. First try with the new blade was cutting a 2 1/2" strip. It cut so poorly, I could feel it! Thought, ok, do I maybe have two blades in there, stuck together? Took it apart. Nope. Put it back together, tried again. Awful. OK, maybe its just a fluke, I'll try another. Same thing. I used EVERY SINGLE blade that day. EVERY SINGLE blade sucked. Oh, don't get be wrong, some were worse than others, but every one was horrible. Like they had burrs all across the blade. Horrible. Next time I'll remember that not every BARGAIN actually is a BARGAIN. So buyer beware!

I have a small start up pet quilting business, so I really needed to find a more economical source for my blades. These worked great. I was worried they wouldn't fit my Olfa rotary properly, but there was no need. Fit perfectly and super sharp. I've made several small quilts and you can bet I'll be purchasing these blades again. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bought this pack of blades to replace an old Olfa blade in my rotary cutter. First of all, the blade doesn't quite match up to the cutter, so even in the closed position you can still catch yourself on the blade edge and cut yourself. Secondly, the blade doesn't cut smoothly. Instead of slicing through the fabric, it hacks at the fabric. I've never shredded more fabric in my life. Very disappointing. I cut the edge off 1 quilt before throwing these away and ordering a set of name brand replacements. Do yourself a favor: spend a little more and get a quality blade from the rotary cutter's manufacturer.

These cutting blades are nice and sharp. I have purchased other new blades which just weren’t sharp even at the beginning. But these are really good. My only complaint would be that all 10 came packaged in one plastic holder, so I don’t have individual plastic things to throw them away and so I have to wrap them carefully for safety when I discard them.

I'm glad I found these blades! I am an avid quilter and seamstress and I use my rotary cutter a lot. I have to admit I don't change the blades as often as I'm supposed to, they are just so expensive! But a sharp blade makes the cutting so much more accurate and easy going so I'm very glad to have found this awesome deal on Amazon! They fit great with my Fiskars rotary cutter and cut through fabric like it is butter in the sun! I will change my blade more often now and definitely buy again!
