Like the headline says, this is a great little starter kit for anyone interested in trying their hand at aquascaping. My local LFS sells nearly identical tools individually for the price I paid for this whole set. The angled scissors could have been a little bit more angled for my liking, but I have mostly nano tanks so room to maneuver is always an issue. They work exactly as expected, haven't rusted yet, and the price is right. 5 stars

These are very useful tools for aquarium work. I have a planted tank and use the long tweezers and scissors frequently. It's nice not to have to get my arm into the tank up to my elbow in order to rearrange a plant. Case is nice to have and keep the items organized and protected.

Tools are sturdy but far from lightweight like others I have used that also cost around $8 per tool. For the cost of $18 (what I paid on 4/28/17) I can live with that. Have not used enough to attest to resilience, rust, or dulling of the blades but should the time come and that happens I will update the review. The case it comes with is also a bit heavy and generic like and old CD case, yet protective and has that offical surgical like feeling.I do have two cons; the 1st being the case was damaged on one side; the stichting arrived already torn and separating (see pictures).The second being inside the case there is not a specific holding for each tool individually; it is simply a pocket at the bottom and a velcro strap.

I used these tools to aquascape a 5 gallon marineland contour aquarium. I was surprised how easily I was able to maneuver around that tank considering that I put a piece of Bonsai Driftwood into it before doing the aquascaping. They are very durable tools and I would highly recommend these tools to anyone that likes to aquascape. The biggest complaint that I have though is with small clumps of plants it can be a little difficult to get them to stick into the aquarium soil instead of just getting caught on the very tip of the tweezers.

Working great!! I like to rinse after every use and wipe dry. There are times when I don't get a chance to do this and they are still holding up fine. No rust or anything.

Just received. Seems okay. Did not use yet. Look good. Feels like brushed stainless instead of polished, but that is fine.

I have had these since August of 2017 and there is no rusting and they help so much with aquascaping my freshwater tank. The case is very handy to have and allows me to keep everything organized. I dry them off after I use them every time.

These tools work great and for the price they were a steal. I was hesitant to spend money on these things because they seem sort of superfluous, but boy they make planting and maintaining plants, moving items around, and picking out unwanted baby snails SO much easier. Many aquarium tool sets are much more expensive so I'm guessing the metal is nicer quality or something, but hey, they're just tools to accomplish a task, and these inexpensive ones work great, so why pay more? I am a little concerned that they might rust so I religiously dry them thoroughly with a microfiber towel after each use and so far (a few weeks) they still look new.

I bought this set as I've started to change my aquarium from plastic plants to live plants and needed to get rid of some algae on the front glass pane. I had used other products like algae scourers but they didn't get rid of everything in one go. I've just used this scraper now and it has removed everything quite easily. You can even feel it scraping it off which is quite satisfying. The case is sturdy and has a good quality zip and inside everything is held in place with two pockets and velcro fasteners keeping everything in place. The set itself comprises two scissors, one straight and one curved, the scraper and also two tongs where one is also straight and one is curved. As for the scraper I was holding it at the end of the handle for the deeper parts of the aquarium and behind the scraper itself for the top of the aquarium as I found there was more control then. The tongs are good and you can use these quite easily for planting plants or picking up any debris. Have not used the scissors yet but they do look and feel good quality and quite sharp. Overall a good quality set which I would definately recommend to anyone wanting a good aquarium set for their own setup.

Bien acabadas. Las tijeras cortan bastante bien. Las pinzas y la espátula muy prácticas. En alguna reseña pone que se oxidan. Yo después de cada uso las seco a conciencia y sin problema. El estuche es un plus para tenerlo todo recogido.
