Great for daily BP monitoring
I needed to purchase a new BP monitor that I could use daily to check my BP as my doctor adjusts my medication. I have been suffering from low BP while taking high blood pressure medication - so making these adjustments and having an accurate reading for my BP is critical right now.My only complaint about this product is that it uses two AA batteries and doesn't offer an option to recharge like my older unit which has a lithium battery. Now on to the positive aspects!Pros:Large, clear display with easy to read numbersComfortable cuff that's adjustable to a wide range of wrist sizes (huge bonus for people who have larger wrists)Readings take less than 30 secs to report - the speed on this thing is amazing - which makes taking my BP multiple times a day less of a choreI do like the little colored range on one side that visually indicates where your pressure reading is on the scale of normal to very highI also like that this doesn't have a "voice" feature on it, so I can measure my BP when I'm out and about if needed - my old one does and you can't disable the darned thing which means it's not discrete in a public settingNeutral:Auto powers off in 30 secs - which is great as it won't kill your batteries as quickly, but also not great that you have to power it down manually if you want to immediately shut it offCons:Requires AA batteries which either need to be replaced or you must purchase rechargeable ones if you want to not keep replacing them. For the price, this is a very solid, accurate BP cuff and if you rely on one for daily use like me, this should be your go to option. I'm very pleased with it and would easily recommend it to others.

Complete failure, will not refund, had to throw it away
What I was hoping for was a new unit to replace our old Omron cuff, that had lost its Velcro hold over time. However, from the start, the Beurer was a disaster. My rating is zero, but you have to show at least 1. It wouldn't inflate as expected and started showing E3 and E4 errors. I changed batteries, same results. The 2 times it did inflate, I thought I was dead, it struggled to inflate and when it did, my PB was in the low 70's over 40's. My old Omron showed normal 120's over 60's.. So I lost confidence. There is a NO RETURN policy for this brand. I contacted them. After a Carole at their office lectured me on how to put it on, (which I already followed) the results were the same. She said send it back, and use a USPS flat rate envelope for repair or replacement. But they will not pay to return $9.65 which would be another 20%. I am throwing it away, and sticking with a known good company. I told Carole that their customer service was poor. But obviously they don't care.

AWESOME PRODUCT
I am a senior and I purchased this blood pressure monitor to replace an older monitor. I am TOTALLY pleased with my Beurer monitor. I perfectly fit my large wrist and it took my blood pressure very quickly and very accurately. It can monitor and keep track of 2 people. I LOVE that it indicates what stage my blood pressure is at... i.e. Normal, Hypertension, HIGH Hypertension. Additionally, I appreciate the case included. Will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to ALL my senior friends and to everyone who wants to track their health. TRUELY everyone should have this in their home.

Great product, accurate results
My doctor recommended for me to start taking my blood pressure at home, that way I would be able to keep an eye out and maintain a healthy blood pressure. However, I wanted to make sure I was spending my money wisely on a blood pressure monitor that was actually accurate and comparable to the one my doctor uses. He suggested a few reputable brands, Beurer and Omron. When going through reviews I decided to go with the Beurer BPM as it seemed to be a reliable brand for BPMs as well as other household items. Shortly after I ordered the item I received it in the mail. Its design is compact, portable, and it even came with a storage case for when I’m on the go and traveling. Needless to say it was beyond accurate and ridiculously easy to use. I was concerned I wouldn’t understand how to use it or interpret the results, but the product actually made it so easy as it classifies measurements using a color chart. Not only that, but it actually has capability to store my results (up to 60) to keep record of past results – which I really, really liked. I’m thoroughly impressed with this product and the technology and dependability. I would definitely purchase this item again!

More pros than cons
Knowing wrist monitors are generally less accurate than arm style, I took a chance on this unit. I am keeping it although I have to make some mental adjustments for it.Pros: very easy to use; the OK feature tells at a glance if it is in the correct position; it stops and gives an error message if it senses movement or incorrect positioning; display is clear and easy to understand; can be used by two users; set up is fast with clear instructions - no incorrect English/misspellings; gives average of AM and PM readings; gives reading quickly without overly amount of pressureCons: registers higher BP than actually is (took it with me to Dr. office and both nurse and Dr. asked me to use it after they took my pressure - higher both times on this machine) so I have to mentally adjust that when I take readings at home; goes through batteries quickly (settings all have to be reset each time batteries are changed, about once a month)I still think the unit is good to have to use as a comparison in general and note if there is a significance change in readings. If true accurate readings are necessary, then get a more professional one.

Inconsistent & not accurate
Product was easy to use and set up. However the BP readings were all over the chart. Pulse was the only close correct reading. The BP monitor gave different readings with the same person at the same time period. This compact machine looked like it could work but with inaccurate readings, it is nothing more than a paper weight.
