Jackson Ultima Excel Women's/Girls Figure Ice Skates

I bought these boots about a year and a half ago. I just upgraded to the freestyle as I've moved on to more advanced skills. These boots were perfect and stayed in great shape. I probably skated about two to three days a week for 1-1.5 hrs at a time. I ordered a size 7--I normally wear a size 8 but you should go one size down in skates. I have wide feet in terms of figure skates, so these were pretty tight on my toes. These come in a standard width so something like a A or B width and I'm a D >.< I got used to it but it's weird now to have skates where I can wiggle my toes lol. Nothing fell apart and nothing loosened. They were pretty easy to break in and never really gave me any blisters. I started getting rough spots on the sides of my pinky toe but I think that is from my foot being squished. You don't want to wear thick socks when skating. Barefoot or stocking socks are the best option. Overall, great boot to get started and a great brand.

I love these skates so much, I ordered a size down and fits perfectly. The blade is already sharpened but I got it more sharpened the first time and cuts the ice so good.

I (41/F) am so grateful for these skates. I tried another brand first but they were not wide enough. After trying these I fell in love. They aren't overly bulky and even feminine while also offering a boot that is comfortable even for someone like me who has very large and wide feet. I am a beginner skater and found these to offer great ankle stability which is great considering I have balance difficulties due to a medical condition.These come with a guard over the blades which is obviously great for safety. They are easy on and easy off. On first use, with the skates off, I laced up the laces until the hook segment and then pulled them on and pulled the laces tight and then completed lacing with the hook segment.I am so glad I didn't attempt to settle with my first purchase from the other brand because these feel like they were custom made for my feet. Best Amazon purchase in a long time.

The media could not be loaded. These skates are GREAT for beginners and recreational skaters. The ankle support is also fantastic. The Mark II blades are also great for beginners. I rated the “comfort” a 4/5 because they DO take a while to break in and you, as a skater— need to find out what works best for you. I lace my skates a little different because my heel tends to slip, but it’s a great boot nonetheless.I’m progressing in my skating faster than I anticipated, so I’m upgrading my blades soon, but the Mark II’s are great if you’re just starting out. You can get a lot of sharpenings out of them.Overall, GREAT quality for the price.

It tends to size a little smaller at first the break in process is needed~ the blades do need to be sharpened after purchase though!! But overall, SO cute and works well after sharpening which cost like 7-10 dollars~

I am a 20 year old college student. I bought skates because I've always wanted to learn how to skate and with my college being so close to an ice rink, I knew it was the time. These were a big purchase (I'm a poor college student). I feel as if they are worth the money though! I feel confident and supported while skating. The only downside is they only come factory sharpened (which is typical of ice skates) but other than that I love them! I skate for upwards of 2.5 hours every weekend and they are holding up great.

The media could not be loaded. Have had these for about 6 months now since I began classes and they're pretty great I will say and can definitely fool people for being more expensive than they are. Since they are on the less pricey side for skates the inside padding is not the greatest as I had to buy gel pads to go over the top of my feet to prevent lace bite as well as different padding for the souls, but everyone’s foot is different. !!!They do need a 1/2 inch sharpening before you use them for the first time!!!

I just got these the other day, and I'm SO happy with them! My old skates are way too big, so I kept making a lot of key errors - which made me believe that I was just a terrible skater. But then when I got these and tried them out, I was doing LOADS better! The fit of your skates is definitely important when it comes to skating, especially if you're going into figure skating. The fit overall is comfortable while still feeling stable, and the quality of the boots and the blades for the money is outstanding. I will be ordering my skates and blades from Jackson Ultima from now on. You can't beat these guys, honestly. For reference, I'm a US size 8 - 8 1/2 and got an adult 7. Great fit!
