F.h.m. Murray: First Biography of a Forgotten Pioneer for Civil Justice

This book was a wonderful read! So glad to learn parts of history that are not taught in school but bare the same level of importance of things we were taught.

Early on into the book I decided the reviewers on this site must be the author's bff. The writing style was elementary and the typos were glaring. But, beyond all that I did find HJ Whitley and his wife, Gigi, to be interesting people. What interested me the most was the single handed settling of Oklahoma that he did before establishing Hollywood. I live in Oklahoma and so many of the towns (along with one of the towns in Texas) that make up who I am were fathered by Whitley.

Interesting history of the Hollywood area but I could not understand how the author could know the thoughts of this couple that lived a hundred years ago. Interesting history of that era and how the rich lived. Some parts of the book were hard to believe.
