This stuff is awesome. We built a tiki bar and used it for the roof and it's perfect. Easily saved half the money I would have paid by building our own tiki bar, and it's much better made than the ones you buy pre-made.

Only bought this for some quick repairs on my tiki bar. Came in perfect and with a letter on how to treat, install, maintain. I will always buy my thatch from here.

we got this product last summer, and by the time that I received summer was almost over, so I removed it maybe 2 week later, and put it away. so guess what I just took it out, and it has no use, it came apart on the minute that I removed it from where it was been storage. :( don't waste your money, it's too expense, and the quality is really poor.

This thatch is easy to install and perfect for my small tiki bar in northwestern PA., although I have had a huge issue with it. I ordered a roll summer before last. It was beautiful, looked perfect.... until it rained. After it got wet, it turned black with mold. It looked awful and the mold dropped off onto the bar in black chunks. I called the company to ask what I could do to avoid this in the future. I was told to use a water seal on it before installing. So this past summer I sprayed the thatch with Thompson’s water seal before installing. I was so excited, thinking I had figured this out, but as soon as it got wet again, the mold was back. I even spray painted it after that so I could continue to use the rest of the summer. It even got moldy after painting it. I love my tiki bar, but I need to find a different solution. No more thatch. I won’t order any more. Maybe in a different climate, it might work better.

good stuff. sturdy and thick
