Custom Deluxe Sheath Leather Sheath with Shoulder Strap and Belt Loop

Mfr should modify it in the following way: the snap strap should be as short as possible and converted to just riveted at both ends. a new snap should be made at the other end under the riveted loop which is long enough to wrap around the shaft one complete turn and then snap. Putting the tool into the sheath under the short riveted strap / the hydrant spanner hooks in and makes it a more secure, while the new snap strap at the other end allow the user to actually carry the tool head down with the velcro strap securing the tool safely. this "fix" would make it much more useful and a higher quality sheath.

Fits on the truckers friend nicely...only gave 4 stars due to price (as others have indicated). I do feel this is overpriced for what you get (should be ~1/2 the price it currently is). You are somewhat obligated to purchase this as the only option for a case--unless you want to make your own.I have no comment on durability, but leather & strap seems solid.

I really like the Trucker's Friend I'd bought but didn't like the cheap sheath which came with it. Obviously the company anticipated that and sold me this overpriced sheath and strap. Oh well .... it's a good product and protects things from the sharp edge of the tool. Even though I grumble about the price, it's worth it unless one wants to build their own.

I would give it 5 stars but I do not like how the end of the strap connects to the handle and has a bunch of extra material sticking out. The entire thing is custom made for The tool why wouldent they make a better way to attach the end of the strap to the tool.

So it's been a while since i ordered this, it has held up to all my abuse and still looks new. I'm actually impressed it still looks new after all this time as I'm a bit rough with tools So this sheath should have worn a bit but hasn't. 10/10

This is a great leather sheath and fits the Truckers Friend perfectly. I would say it is a must have. The stitching is nice and it also has a carrying strap. My Only reason for a 3 star rating is because I do think it's a bit pricey. Like others here have mentioned, it's almost half the price of the Truckers Friend itself. Other than that, great addition to a very awesome product.

Needs a better button attachment, one that is stronger, with a little longer leather strap. Although it can be modified without too much trouble.It does cover and protect the blade and that's the important part.

Most excellent protection for the tool, and the tool handler/user!To keep leather nice, just follow the directions on the package for this item. Who would have thought that a drop or two of olive oil could do so much, that is with the exception of cooling or use in salads.

This is well made with a good set of attachment points and a nice strap. However, there is only one buckle that wraps around the head and holds it in place over the axe blade, and as a result, the sheath is prone to pivoting (especially if you use the attachment point at the front and not at the top) almost exposing the blade. I feel like this problem could easily be solved by relocating the strap only half an inch or so, which is kind of annoying.
